U.S.-Israeli strikes hit Iran’s Mahshahr petrochemical zone in Khuzestan, impacting multiple facilities inside the country’s largest petrochemical complex, according to Reuters and Iranian media. At least five people were wounded, with officials warning casualties may rise.
➤ Local officials say explosions struck at least three companies within the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone
➤ Separately, Iran’s Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex, part of the same industrial cluster, was also hit and sustained damage
➤ The strikes once again targeted Iranian economic infrastructure, signaling a widening U.S.-Israel campaign beyond military targets.

The Israeli army said it would target two more bridges over the Litani River in eastern Lebanon, after already destroying at least seven key crossings. Yesterday, we reported from a destroyed bridge in Tyre, where only one crossing into the city remains. The director of the main hospital in Tyre said its operations now rely entirely on international aid deliveries, including medication and diesel, crucial for electricity after its solar panels were destroyed in an Israeli strike. Cutting the last road would trigger a humanitarian crisis.

During Ramadan my husband, who is Catholic, refused to eat during lunch so that he could sit in solidarity with his Muslim co-workers. Despite their reassurances, he said he felt bad. So today, which is a holy day (Good Friday) for us Catholics, his Muslim friends fasted with him until noon and no one had meat. They all had vegan/vegetarian meals. My heart is so grateful for these signs of love ❤️
