No emancipatory horizon can be realised, in a world of nation states, without sovereignty. “I support the people not the regime”, well guess what? It is the “regime” that is handing US their ass to them. Do you support them now?

Hate to break it to you, but the policy of directing production toward military infrastructure was set in motion by the same people and leadership that you demonise. What the Islamic republic has demonstrated today is nothing short of revolutionary. I know what side I’m on.

💢 STRIKES HIT MULTIPLE SITES IN IRAN’S MAIN PETROCHEMICAL HUB U.S.-Israeli strikes hit Iran’s Mahshahr petrochemical zone in Khuzestan, impacting multiple facilities inside the country’s largest petrochemical complex, according to Reuters and Iranian media. At least five people were wounded, with officials warning casualties may rise. ➤ Local officials say explosions struck at least three companies within the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone ➤ Separately, Iran’s Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex, part of the same industrial cluster, was also hit and sustained damage ➤ The strikes once again targeted Iranian economic infrastructure, signaling a widening U.S.-Israel campaign beyond military targets. 📸 Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni petrochemical complex, Musa Bay, Iran

Happy Easter, Americans. Your tax dollars supplied the weapons that killed this priest earlier this month in southern Lebanon. He was killed in a double-tap strike; he had been tending to the wounded when the Israeli army fired again and killed him.

Two ex republicans debating whether Dems should embrace Hasan. There’s a large contingent of ex republicans on cable news who are seen as the representing Democrats. Why are Dems ok with these people representing them but are hesitant to include the left?

This is The Bulwark. We don’t all think one thing! I think Tim is wrong on Hasan Piker, so we hashed it out. Listen to us work through it in a format much more conducive to a productive discussion than Twitter dunks.

Watching Israel move into Lebanon, seizing land, destroying everything, and imposing ethnic cleansing on Shia Muslims- to the extent that Druse and Christian Lebanese HIDE their Muslim neighbors- is like watching Germany roll into Czechoslovakia in 1939, while the world yawns.

Anonymous: During Ramadan my husband, who is Catholic, refused to eat during lunch so that he could sit in solidarity with his Muslim co-workers. Despite their reassurances, he said he felt bad. So today, which is a holy day (Good Friday) for us Catholics, his Muslim friends fasted with him until noon and no one had meat. They all had vegan/vegetarian meals. My heart is so grateful for these signs of love ❤️

New from me: When Doug Ford refuses to disclose records, loses in court, and then moves to change the law to avoid disclosure, it raises a simple question. What is Ford trying so hard to hide? canadianlawyermag.com/news/opinion/h…

A friendly reminder that, in late Ottoman Palestine, Jews, Muslims & Christians celebrated each other's holidays together: 1. Jews & Muslims celebrated Orthodox Easter w/Christians. 2. Muslims & Christians dressed up and partied for the Jewish holiday of Purim. 3. Jews & Christians joined Muslim pilgrimages & holidays It was a world before Zionism contaminated relations between Jews, Muslims & Christians in Palestine. palestine-studies.org/en/node/78121 I dive deeper into this history here: palestinenexus.com/courses
