Tucker Carlson has completely forgotten about the cost of freedom. He wants Christians to live as dhimmis in the Islamic world, with no freedom, rather than be free in Israel and risk being spat on by a radical Jew. He wants the West to be ruled by dictatorships, with people stripped of their freedoms so that human ugliness is suppressed and hidden in public. He prefers superficial cleanliness and artificial civilization over the messiness of sweat and struggle required to build something real. Tucker is right, the generation that built the West is gone. And thanks to people like him, who pushed an anti-West agenda in the past, the younger generation in the West now hates their own countries. But the countries he praises are not successful because of Sharia law or their religions. They are successful because they imported systems created by the West, utilized them, and suppressed any dissent. But freedom doesn’t work that way. It has a price, and that price is messy, chaotic, and uncomfortable. Terrorists did not emerge only from failed, colonized countries. The same countries he praises have been responsible for exporting Islamic terrorism for decades. Saudi Arabia was responsible for the Islamic awakening that destroyed the Arab world and hijacked it's brief moment of modernity that the British and the French brought. There are a lot of things to say about the BS Tucker is promoting in this interview, I don't really know where to begin.
