I'm so so so tired of the "but come on that's the kind of film this filmmaker makes, didn't you expect that?" defensive excuse. Because – don't you know that filmmakers can lose their talent & make bad films even if they once made better ones?? It's happening a LOT these days...

James Gray's #PaperTiger has been acquired by NEON and will world premiere in competition at Cannes Film Festival.
"We have three actors portraying three brilliant characters. I never saw Scarlett Johansson do what she did in this film. Never. I think she made a work that will be remembered. Adam Driver and Miles Teller are great. Miles Teller is the new James Caan; he looks like James Caan in the ‘70s."
