@6ixbuzztv Yes. Spend Canadian tax dollars to build infrastructure here in Canada and stop funding Ukraine. $26 billion to Ukraine in the past 4 years is beyond ridiculous!

@6ixbuzztv Next floor crosser will be a Brampton MP after Carney makes "historic" investments in Brampton (and promises not to deport anyone).

@Pranit We'll see if OpenAI keeps the $20 plan consistent. I'll just go to GLM/MiniMax $10/$20 plan if OpenAI tries to screw us.

OpenAI didn’t launch a new tier. They launched an upsell funnel. Plus users were paying $20 with Codex included. Now OpenAI is “rebalancing” that usage (read: reducing it) and introducing a $100/mo tier with 10x Codex access through May 31. The timing isn’t a coincidence. You reduce what people get at $20 at the exact moment you offer 10x at $100. The gap between the two tiers does the selling for you. At the end of May, the 10x drops to 5x. But by then you’ve already upgraded and $100/mo is just what you pay now. Anthropic did the same thing with Claude. Limits quietly got worse, then a temporary 2x off-peak promo showed up to ease the sting. Every AI subscription is subsidized at a loss. This is what the correction looks like: not a price hike, just a slow squeeze until the next tier up feels inevitable.
OpenAI@OpenAI

We’re updating our ChatGPT Pro and Plus subscriptions to better support the growing use of Codex. We’re introducing a new $100/month Pro tier. This new tier offers 5x more Codex usage than Plus and is best for longer, high-effort Codex sessions. In ChatGPT, this new Pro tier still offers access to all Pro features, including the exclusive Pro model and unlimited access to Instant and Thinking models. To celebrate the launch, we’re increasing Codex usage for a limited time through May 31st so that Pro $100 subscribers get up to 10x usage of ChatGPT Plus on Codex to build your most ambitious ideas.

@shiri_shh What's with all the hate towards OpenAI? Anthropic's usage limits are absolute trash. And somehow they have endless fanboys on their dick.

OpenAI is panicking. The $100 plan proves it. This week, Anthropic hit $30B ARR and passed OpenAI. Tripled revenue in four months. Claude Code alone is doing $2.5B. 1,000+ companies paying a million a year each. OpenAI was Stuck at $25B. Bleeding devs to Claude every single day. So they did the only thing left. Launched a $100 Pro Lite plan. Same price as Claude Max. Same pitch. And to keep $200 Pro users from walking, they extended the 2x Codex promo till May 31 and reset Codex rate limits. Again. They already killed Sora. Ended the Disney deal. Cut every side quest. Now they're mimicking Anthropic's pricing and throwing freebies at loyal users to stop the bleed.

@TSieranski @dscovar @sama I fucking hope so. This was literally the reason i went for the ChatGPT Plus subscription instead of Claude's $20 plan. I find Codex to be reasonably generous on the $20 plan.

@dscovar @sama OpenAI made it clear that Plus stays the same. It’s really mostly about Codex. The $100 plan gives you Pro model too.But honestly, Pro isn't all that amazing. I didn't use it much myself, it's decent but too slow for everyday tasks ;) Thinking is more universal.

@Kappaemme1926 @west_has Unfortunately yes 😕 Never hit less than 60% left for 5h before, now at 19% after 2.5h of same use, weekly consumption, 12% gone (out of 100%), claude-way (pro plan), sad 😢

Saying “hello” to Claude on the Pro plan just consumed almost 2% of the entire session usage. One message. “Hello there, how are you?” That’s it. This is why so many people are moving to Codex right now(like me), because it feels almost impossible to hit the limits there. Anthropic needs to fix this before they lose the huge number of developers they recently gained.

@rileybrown I like it a lot better than openclaw. No amnesia and it just works. Openclaw would give up on things after 5 minutes. Yesterday my Hermes agent worked on something for 40 mins straight to complete it.

@rileybrown Hermes has made quite a bit of noise, to the point where I had to do a bit of research. OpenClaw is still King and I don't wanna compromise on anything just to get this alleged self-improving Hermes.

@BentoBoiNFT Anthropic is GAY. I'll stick with OpenClaw. And just a month ago, you were still a full crypto degen, desperately pivoting to AI and pretending you're now a SME on AI. Please stop.
