We’ve officially completed the acquisition of Bitte. Proud of what we built. Working with newer agent frameworks like @openclaw has reinforced something for me: we were building in the right direction from the start. Huge credit to @microchipgnu @surgecodes @PKuveke and the Bitte team for helping shape that vision. One thing that became clear to me is that @openclaw focused on the larger immediate market. Bitte was built around crypto transactions and web3 infrastructure, while they applied a very similar agent architecture to web2 use cases where developer demand is significantly broader today. Sometimes the difference is not the product, but the market timing and surface area. The underlying stack remains remarkably similar: hackable agent frameworks, MCP/tool calling, templated integrations, and orchestration layers, whether connecting to DEXs like @CoWSwap and @JupiterExchange @SnapshotLabs. We started as an NFT company in 2018, @mintbase pioneered one of the first NFT ticketing implementations at Berlin Blockchain Week in 2019 + @NFT_NYC, deployed singles with @deadmau5, and pivoted into AI in 2023 to build one of the first embeddable agentic DEX swap experiences powered by AI agents. Being early is both a gift and a challenge. I still strongly believe crypto rails and RWAs will play a major role in global commerce as agents orchestration matures. Building Mintbase and Bitte taught me many hard lessons, but staying true to our values and keeping our integrity throughout the years is something I’m deeply proud of. Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way. For now I’m taking some time to reset, planting 77 trees in Portugal, learning to farm, and getting my hands dirty with real soil along with some side quests playing with all the neat new agentic tooling. Excited for what comes next.

@johnpalmer It’s a fair point, let us make sure this is tuned correctly. And we can probably provide some customization options on this - that section of the app is getting some new updates. Thanks for the feedback.

This is incredibly annoying. Getting several of these per day from Coinbase. I don't understand pushing this on users who trust coinbase to hold their stablecoin and crypto balances. This is essentially encouraging me to gamble. What does that say about the internal philosophy around money management? Can I trust the yield sources on USDC interest, can I trust internal risk management, etc. I really just don't get it, I love Coinbase and hold the stock too but this just feels like there are no consistent brand values underlying the strategy.

Coinbase tells their users to "take back control" by using their app. But login today and this is what you see. Their message is that financial speculation and gambling is the way out of a dreary life when, in fact, for 99% of people it will only make their life worse.

TERAFAB: the next step to becoming a galactic civilization Together with @SpaceX & @xAI, we're building the largest chip manufacturing facility ever (1TW/year) – combining logic, memory & advanced packaging under one roof. To harness as much power as possible from the Sun, we need to send 100 million tons of solar capture into space – per year. This requires massive scale. – Capability to launch millions of tons of mass into orbit – Solar-powered AI satellites – Millions of @Tesla_Optimus robots to help build it out All of these need chips: 100-200GW of chips for Optimus alone, plus terawatts for solar-powered AI satellites. That's more than all the chip manufacturers in the world combined can provide today, or even by 2030 (based on projected production growth). We're building TERAFAB to close the gap between today’s chip production & the future's demand – a future among the stars terafab.ai

Brian sold 2% of his Coinbase stake, about $110 million, to co-found a company called NewLimit in 2021. Its mission is to reprogram old human cells back to younger states. So when he tweets that aging is a “disease,” he’s not making a philosophical argument. He’s talking about a market he’s personally betting nine figures on. About 150,000 people die every day worldwide, and roughly two-thirds of those deaths are age-related. Heart disease, cancer, stroke, dementia, all conditions where age is the single biggest risk factor. NewLimit has raised about $250 million total. Kleiner Perkins led a $130 million round in May 2025. Then in October, Eli Lilly put in $45 million, pushing the valuation to $1.6 billion. What the company actually does: it uses AI models and lab experiments in a cycle to discover drugs that reprogram liver cells to behave like younger versions of themselves. Three prototype medicines so far. No human trials yet. Armstrong isn’t alone. Sam Altman put $180 million of his own money into Retro Biosciences, which is raising $1 billion at a $5 billion valuation with no clinical results to show yet. Jeff Bezos was among the early backers of Altos Labs, which launched with $3 billion in 2022. Add NewLimit’s $250 million and the total capital flowing into just these three longevity startups tops $4 billion. Longevity funding hit $8.5 billion across 331 deals in 2024, more than double the year before. By late 2025, half of all that money was going to cellular reprogramming (turning old cells young again), the same approach NewLimit and Retro both use. The catch: the FDA doesn’t classify aging as a disease. The WHO almost did but reversed course in 2022. So none of these companies can run trials targeting “aging” directly. They target Alzheimer’s, liver disease, immune decline, and hope the anti-aging effects follow. The track record so far is rough. AbbVie walked away from a $1.5 billion decade-long partnership with Google’s longevity arm Calico late last year. Unity Biotechnology once had a $700 million valuation, then dissolved entirely last year. When a CEO says aging “will be optional,” check where his money is. Armstrong’s is exactly where his tweet is.
Brian Armstrong@brian_armstrong

Getting old shouldn't be viewed as inevitable, just because it happens to everyone. It's a disease that kills over 100,000 people a day, and hopefully it will be optional in the future.

Read this carefully. @uniQure_NV just said the anonymous FDA statements are "incomplete or entirely incorrect" and don't reflect "a fair and faithful reading" of the data. Meanwhile the same anonymous official is attacking advisory committee scientists and retired FDA leaders by name while hiding behind anonymity. This isn't how drug regulation is supposed to work. This is a PR campaign against dying patients. 48,000 families deserve better than this. $QURE #HuntingtonsDisease

yeah so this is insane 24 year old turned $225M into $5.5B in <12 months. dug into his recent investments and… holy fuck - MASSIVE $885M position in Bloom Energy (specialises in portable energy turbines for… you guessed it - ai data centers) - this 1 position is 20% of the entire fund lol - massive SHORT position on Infosys. he’s betting claude code, codex are going to replace outsourced IT work (he’s right) - added $300M to his corweave position totalling $700M (someones gotta run those gpus) - aggressively pivoted investments into electrical and energy infra (aka AI’s biggest constraint right now) - dumped $100Ms of NVIDIA and Intel positions. - aggressively buying bitcoin mining companies and re-purposing them for ai data centers. (cipher, bitdeer) - fund up $1.5B in the last 3 months (+35% last quarter) - now owns 10% of core scientific (levered bet on coreweave 😂) He outperformed the S&P500 8X in the funds first 6 months. fucking goated.

Life is amazing: -gyms exist -Coke Zero exists -hot girls outnumber even moderately put-together dudes 2000 to 1 -every food item in the world has been hunted and gathered for you (grocery stores) -you and your wife can drink 4 bottles of wine then smash all night without a condom -you and your friends can hit the gym then smoke a joint at a John Mayer concert -you could be working 16 hour days in a coal mine in a third world country breaking your lower back for less than $1 There’s kids who live in wheelchairs. There’s kids born with disabilities. No Prom, no Shoulder Presses, no sleepovers with their best friends staying up until 2AM watching Interstellar. And you’re not SMASHING the gym like a grateful SAVAGE!? Eating healthy 90% of the time, calling your friends for no reason, CRUSHING it in your career, asking for the promotion, asking out your crush making her your girlfriend then your wife!? You’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion MIRACLE. You’re so lucky it’s absurd and you have nothing to lose :)
