@RealJamesWoods Love the character. The best thing out of Disney in years. And your voice acting sells it completely.

Not “nearly,” but absolutely every time Hades appears in any iteration, I do his voice. I was in the studio just a few weeks ago in fact. I love this character, and the creative team at Disney never fail to do top notch work.
The Rubber Duck ™@TheRubberDuck79

"Did you know James Woods was so passionate about voicing Hades in Hercules that he offered to do it for free? When the film ran into budget issues, he volunteered to return his salary just to make sure it got finished. He's also the official voice of Hades in nearly every appearance since."

Genevieve McDonald, Graham Platner's former political director, weighs in on the Nazi tattoo controversy: "Graham has an anti-Semitic tattoo on his chest. He's not an idiot, he's a military history buff. Maybe he didn't know it when he got it, but he got it years ago and he should have had it covered up because he knows damn well what it means." McDonald resigned from Platner's campaign on Friday following previous controversial social media posts by Platner resurfacing. Follow: @MaineStatePress

Not always. When my grandparents passed away, they had quite the library of books (some quite old), that they wanted to donate to the local library. However, the library didn't want them so the books would have been pulped. I rented a van and packed up as many books as I could that would fit in my house.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ Did that with a neighbor's beagle once. The thing broke it's chain, managed to snag it while walking my own dog and take him home. Fortunately my dog and the neighbors dog got along well which made things easier.

This man lives next door to this yard. His neighbor’s two Doberman’s got out. He takes the time to round them up and bring them back to their yard. They are giving him a lot of grief. They seem friendly enough but they don’t want to go back inside, they want to play. You can tell this isn’t his first rodeo with them. To have a neighbor like this is being rich in life. What a great guy. Not only did he save them from possibly creating some havoc but he saved them from getting hurt. Having a neighbor like this, you just can’t put a price on that. 💯 Do you have neighbors that would go above and beyond like this and do this for you and your dogs?

@wretchardthecat I've been saying this for years. A lot of the hatred of Trump comes from people who think "He's just not our kind, dearie."

In fact I am struck by the embarassing degree to which which snobbery plays a role in Left/Right politics. Progressives have by imperceptibly slow degrees become the party of respectability, toffs, dignity and propriety. The real emotional fuel for Trump hatred is only partly fueled by logical disagreement. Most of it comes from his choice of furniture, design of ballroom, the ghastly red caterpillar cap, vulgar speech and most of all 'bigly'. They might forgive all else, but never 'bigly'. Over in the UK Starmer's accent proclaims him as estimable and educated. And Lord Ali, Lord Hermer and Lord Mandelson and those in league with him have even been ennobled. By contrast Robinson is described as dressed in "football casual". So while the division between Western liberals and conservatives is probably determined by disagreements over public policy it is in part driven by social self-identification.

The dueling rallies in the UK the media narrative pro-Palestine "nakba" rally vs the Tommy Robinson Unite the Kingdom that were held largely peacefully were driven by rival strategies. Keir Starmer took a very hard line against Robinson, going so far as to deploy facial recognition vans in the Unite rally route to signal to his base that he was truly a man of the Left, something his Labour leadership rivals have accused him of abandoning. Robinson by contrast wanted to legitimize his issues and deliberately turned the Unite the Kingdom event into a conservative Woodstock. This was probably as much to mollify class suspicions as ideological ones. Robinson is the wrong kind of guy, after all. Not a Sir, not Oxbridge. He had to show he wasn't going to lose it on stage and he didn't. On the whole the event was Tommy's to lose and he didn't.

Watch this woman completely unravel before your eyes. Imagine demanding a private audience while putting on a main-character performance in a public parking lot. A masterclass in weaponized entitlement unfolded outside a local Starbucks when a woman in a pink sweater chose to escalate a completely lawful situation into a bizarre public spectacle. The individual went out of her way to confront a First Amendment auditor filming in public spaces, aggressively claiming her right to privacy while simultaneously creating the exact scene she claimed to despise. The legal realities here are simple and absolute: The Right to Record: Under the First Amendment, citizens have a firmly protected right to film and photograph in public areas, including sidewalks and public parking lots. There is no legal expectation of privacy when standing outdoors in plain view. The Assault Threat: In a desperate bid to shut down the cameras, the woman physically aggressively approached the auditors, prompting responding law enforcement to explicitly warn her that touching them or their equipment constitutes criminal assault. The "Citizen's Arrest" Delusion: Refusing to back down, she repeatedly demanded that officers initiate a citizen's arrest against the cameramen. The officers correctly and calmly explained that they cannot enforce the peace based on personal grievances, nor can they arrest people for exercising their constitutional rights. The situation reached its peak of absurdity when she shifted from citing fabricated local ordinances to shouting threats about the FBI, declaring she would have everyone convicted of a crime, before finally storming off. Ultimately, law enforcement stood their ground, refusing to cater to her demands. The auditors continued their lawful recording, leaving the woman with nothing but the viral spotlight she so desperately—and ironically—cultivated for herself.
