@FiredCoaches Private schools are not open enrollment . They must declare a district and students must move into your district to be eligible. Just like public schools. Even at a boarding school, the student would still be ineligible if he did not start as a ninth grader.

1. Public School = Locked Geography
You either live in district or you better find an address to use in district.
No gray area
2. Private School = Open Enrollment
You can enroll from anywhere. Your change of address can be the apartment next door to your current one.
It might be “the same rule” but Private Schools don’t have the burden of actually needing a “Bonafide” move to make a kid eligible.

@FiredCoaches They're absolutely under the same rules with regard to recruiting.Absolutely under the same rules for eligibility as well.The only reason enrollment differs is that not all systems do out of zone -- but many do.Surprised & disappointed by your take, but {shrug} that's up to me.

Spoke to a fellow Tongan who paid $4,000 to a recruiting service. I looked at his son's tape, shared his strengths, weaknesses, projected college position, & which schools to focus on. Asked him why didn't he reach out to me first & he said, "Pride.” Pride sure is expensive.

@coachj_bo21 Use divider Rules.Ball in MOF top of the #s is divider. If the ball is on the hash the divider is bottom of numbers to the boundary. To the field the divider is halfway between #s and hash. If WR is outside divider get inside leverage if he is inside divider get outside leverage

High school players and parents… here’s the reality of recruiting.
College coaches evaluate size first. Height, weight, and frame matter at every level of college football.
Start by being honest and set realistic expectations about where you fit.
If you meet the size standards, you still have to produce.
Big players are everywhere. Coaches recruit the ones who can run, think, compete, and make plays on film.
If you don’t meet the size standards, you must bring something extra.
Elite speed. High football IQ. Toughness. Playmaking ability.
Know where you stand.
Set realistic expectations.
Then go to work.
