@ivangonzalez22x @Daninudo @AngelJoelph Doesn’t that movie end with him breaking the laws of physics and reality through sheer willpower and turning back time, bringing dozens of people back from the dead, and saving everyone because he wants to?
English

Esta escena en *Man of Steel* nunca tendrá sentido. ¿Por qué no salvó Superman a su papá?

@Detrius_Red @SUPESASAHI Damn, almost like Jor-El’s whole thing in that movie is about rebelling against a rigid system and doing things he’s not supposed to.
English

@SUPESASAHI Mind you, Jor-El was a scientist, he wouldn't have armor. Looks like Gunn understands that movies are more than just aesthetics.
English

Mind you, this was Zack Snyder’s Kryptonian House of El armor design from 13 years ago 🔥
Now alien designs look like winter rain coats, yet Gunn Gooners are celebrating it like crazy. The aesthetic and artistic are just gone in DCU.
Depressing reality, folks 🤦♂️

1) Calling a segment of an empty parking garage a “9/11 he just caused” is hilariously hyperbolic.
2) The movie actually fairly sets up that it would not have just “scratched him”. When the oil rig blows up in his face in the beginning of the film, Clark is knocked unconscious for an unspecified period of time. When Faora takes a missile to the face, she is knocked unconscious. The movie sets up that a point blank explosion was actually at risk of at least knocking out Kryptonians within the film’s lore. If you as a fan wish they powerscaled them to some comic or other media continuities, that’s fine. But within the film, it’s fairly well explained why Clark would reflexively avoid getting blown up.

English

@SuperManDavCor if superman doesn't absolutely destroy civilian infrastructure to dodge a truck that wouldn't have even scratched him so that he can aurafarm in front of the fictional 9/11 he just caused i don't want him

Does Superman really need an "aura"? I don't think so. He just does his job and tries to be good in every situation. He doesn't need people to fear him. That only exists in your heads, those who worship Snyder.

Suit so bad bro lost all the aura he could have

That’s how you end up burned out and making meaningless things. But I guess the brand deals will be worth it.

if ur not ready to approach ur creative work with an athlete-like mindset in this current age then pack it in

And the Joker is still at the end of the day…a mere criminal in the grand scheme of things. Is that really up for debate?
He’s a narcissistic egotistical sadist who is routinely portrayed in Batman media as a pitiful lowlife who is insignificant in the grand scheme of things. He dies and the world keeps on peddling without him in many stories.
If Batman’s primary motivation in this movie was blood soaked revenge and personal justice, sure maybe you might have had a point about him wanting to get even. But his motivation is a perverse view of protecting the world tied to his own feelings of insignificance, not that.
English

@whataboutdebby @RedBoulderPunch Except this isn’t a random Lex Corp goon this is literally the guy who’s done more damage to him than anyone else ever has or could
English

@ThomasComicTalk @RedBoulderPunch This is also addressed. The domestic terrorist in a purple tuxedo is farther down on the list of priorities than the potential end of all life on Earth threat of Superman.

English

@whataboutdebby @RedBoulderPunch I cannot believe that a Batman who's okay with murder doesn't immediately kill the dude that tortured and beat his child to death
English

@ThomasComicTalk @RedBoulderPunch Because he begins and ends his time of killing during the course of BVS, during which time he clearly doesn’t encounter the Joker.
English

@RedBoulderPunch I still do not understand how this Batman had a stint where he was a genuinely mowing random goons down with 50 caliber machine guns and somehow let the Joker who killed his son survive
