@MCPHRSNmusic@imnotgaben@JamesDueck I agree the the government model should reflect what the constituents want but you can agree that they can’t cater to every individual wants/needs.
We vote for someone who best represents what we’re are looking for.
CO2 pricing is compounded in everything, and yes I do notice the difference.
Any tangible product that moves has CO2 pricing added everytime it moves. Would you agree or disagree?
Never said you couldn’t say what you wanted.
The level at which immigration continues is lower, however it’s still building.
People I know are leaving for places like Mexico, DR, US.
A government model we should replicate is one that respects its constituents votes, beliefs, money, sovereignty from state over reach.
A government that stays out of our daily lives and focuses on the big picture, leaving individuals to govern themselves accordingly, within the law. The law should be enforced equally across the board without prejudice.
We should argue between platforms that volley policy and agendas that make Canada competitive, not agendas that erode the fabric of our nation.
@MCPHRSNmusic@imnotgaben@JamesDueck US and MX are not good examples of gov expenditures which help everyday people.
MX has terrible security and safety
US has terrible social safety net.
@MCPHRSNmusic@imnotgaben@JamesDueck Immigration spiked by three main reasons - 1) people didn’t want to work (or work in certain sectors) 2) business lobbying 3) gov reaction.
The three points needed to work together but didn’t.
The people have as much to blame as the gov.
@MCPHRSNmusic@imnotgaben@JamesDueck C02 pricing scheme is revenue neutral. It goes to schools, hospitals for example. This goes against your claim of undermining the people who pay into it.
What undermines some people is subsidies given to the oil industry which don’t trickle down to the people.
@MCPHRSNmusic@imnotgaben@JamesDueck -more income, more spending. Good
-I bet you can’t quantify CO2 pricing it in your daily expenditure
-I’m free to say what I want.
-immigration is down.
Where are people leaving to?
What government model should we replicate?
Living in both the 🇺🇸 & 🇨🇦 in my state i have lower crime rate than my province, lower property tax, lower insurance costs on home/auto, the infrastructure is better, costs on everything is cheaper and best of all my state has no sales tax and no income tax. Why shouldn't the goal of every province be the same as the state i live in? Not a single province comes close because no one demands it in Canada. Rant over. Canada=high taxation
@JamesDueck I'm afraid I'm part of the 5%. I will never forget nor forgive what this government and its army of quislings did during Covid. How could I possibly trust a government or a society that so casually threw out Charter Rights and Freedoms ever again?
Why are TORONTO people so concerned about Alberta LEAVING Canada?!
You don’t like Alberta anyway.
So, Elbows up Carney down and leave the comment section alone!
@FiftyFootNest With the Carney Liberal narrative “don’t travel to America”, why the hell don’t they go against their own agenda and travel to America and get the tariffs reduced
@FiftyFootNest They want us to think the US is worse off than we are yet they have record low unemployment, trillions in new investments and govt jobs being replaced with private sector jobs with all of the new jobs that investment is bringing.
We have the exact opposite.
The spin doctors.
If your ancestors helped build Canada, you are Canadian.
If you or your ancestors arrived here after the nation was built, you’re an immigrant, not a Canadian, no matter what your passport says.
@FiftyFootNest@PressSec@WhiteHouse Tell the GOAT 🐐 President of the USA @POTUS to Freeze all of Mark Carneys USA assets and revoke the green card of all his family living in the USA 🇺🇸. Checkmate move. It's about fucking time. Send Carney a message, embarrass him on the world stage. FAFO 🇺🇸
It won't end well for Canadians. Carney is a con man. Canada is nothing more than high taxation. A deal will be reached and the Canadian media & LPC will spin it just well enough for their supporters to believe their lies. Nothing much will change except Canadians will pay higher taxes and the Canadian politicians will continue to grow wealthier and invest not in Canada but in the US. (see Carneys investment portfolio for proof)
