Aaron Murphy is the founder of @MURPHSLIFE Foundation, where they "teach people how to fish." They've planted tens of thousands of fruit trees, helped locals launch hundreds of microbusinesses in El Salvador, and even include Bitcoin in their workers' retirement savings. Here are just a few of the ways the Fairy Godmother 🪄 has made history: - first person to ever mention Bitcoin on major financial media - first person to start and lead a national Bitcoin Office - first person to implement nation-wide Bitcoin education programs - the main person making sure that the world’s first Bitcoin Country wasn’t undermined by shitcoiners And that’s not even counting all of the people she’s inspired, all of the standing ovations at events around the world, or her new work running El Salvador’s AI Agency as well as the Bitcoin Office. Most people never come close to even one accomplishment of that caliber. The few who do often rest on their laurels afterwards. But for Stacy, each time she makes history, it only seems to motivate her to work even harder building the bright orange future that we all want to see. And remember… Max and Stacy don’t have to do any of this. As OG Bitcoiners, I’m sure they could have retired comfortably years ago. They keep working because they genuinely care! Thank you to both of them, and thank you to Stacy in particular for three more things: 1. Taking a chance on me to do media and events contract work with you and the Bitcoin Office through the winter events season. I’ve learned so much, and it’s been the honor of a lifetime 🫡 2. Watching over Bitcoiners in El Salvador like our Guardian Angel. It’s very rare for any of us to get in legal trouble here, but there was one specific case involving a neighbor dispute. I was amazed how quickly you contacted the police station, ensured fair treatment, and kept us all informed until his release a couple of hours later. Little things like that, ensuring fair treatment, matter a lot to the Bitcoiners moving to a new country with an unfamiliar legal system 3. Always staying cool under pressure as our Keeper of the Vision. Even when others are losing their heads over obstacles or setbacks or distractions, your ability to stay laser focused on positive solutions is extraordinary. Just like Steve Jobs, your vision and focus pays off by producing world class results! Happy birthday Stacy. You’ve inspired so many of us.
