@BradfemlyWalsh What’s the tipping point? I think I reached it several decades ago.

@wheeliebin69 @theworstkirst @MediaSOI @chrisotherwise It’s still very much how British town high streets used to look, AI or not. I assume you are too young to remember? The only critique I would make, is there are too many cars and people for say, the 1960/70s. This is the high street I grew up in. This is probably more 1960s.

@theworstkirst @MediaSOI @chrisotherwise Not at all. This was Britain and why so many of us clamour for these days. Sadly those growing up today, will never know how good this was. No turkish barbers, vape shops, tattoo parlours and endless charity shops.

It's crazy how testosterone testing in women's sports has disproportionatly negatively affected women of colour because the "norms" that are being used come from white women.. but calling that out is apparently making me racist????

@MasonW4636344 @EdmundWakeford @mark_mackillop No - it’s ‘theirs’ because the scoundrel in the original post hasn’t been identified for the purposes of the joke. ‘Theirs’ is singular when you don’t know what sex is being referred to. This is basic stuff.

@EdmundWakeford @mark_mackillop That first example is only grammatically correct if the person uses they/them pronouns dude… this is fucking grammar school That’s literally the only way they/them can be singular. If you’re against recognizing that pronoun then you have to say he or she lifted the cup

Yep. Trans rights activists are 'too often overlooked' when they yell into megaphones outside Parliament about "punching terfs", or threaten us wearing balaclavas while trying to stop us entering women's rights events. They're 'overlooked' inside Parliament by every Labour MP...
Emily Thornberry@EmilyThornberry

This Trans Day of Visibility, let's remember those too often overlooked in endless debates over trans rights: trans people. Trans men and women deserve our love and support, not exclusion and hate.

The Good Law Project going after this tiny group of volunteers has resulted in Protect and Teach gaining more followers. They now have even more support to rid schools of gender ideology…

Many reasons. Main one is because the base level of males who've identified as women has not been high enough. Simply, they're too mediocre, so even with male advantage, they can't beat the best elite women, who are really exceptional athletes. Final outcome = advantage PLUS base
Jack Turban MD 🧠@jack_turban

@RaskinSalmo @Scienceofsport @hoovlet If tr*ns people are 1% of the population and have a competitive advantage, why has a trans woman never medaled at the Olympics?

@Richard56370536 @helenstaniland “bolder and more extreme” You seem to be confusing a very consistent simple clarity (sex is real; single-sex spaces are important) with some kind of escalation of rhetoric. Sex is real and single-sex spaces are important. There is no escalation. None is needed.

@helenstaniland You and your ilk are just becoming bolder and more extreme, abandoning your earlier attempts at balanced reasoned communication in favour of all out bigotry, I like to see it, it’s more honest, less gaslighting
