@MikeMTOS Hi! You should be be fine with any of the supported node versions. I use node 16 but it should work with 14 or 18. You should only need node and npm to get started, npm will generally be installed along side node. npm can then install all the other packages you need.

@FozzTexx @ChartreuseK The power light not being on could point to a cable or socket issue, although the bulb could be burned out, I have rarely seen that.

@ChartreuseK Unplug the ribbon from the motherboard and see if it's still sending keys. Also it looks like you were able to type Ctrl-X when you first got it to boot up? I've had dirty keyboards crap out on me even when they worked briefly. And get wrong keys on keys that sort of work.

Apple ][+ acquired on Saturday. It's an early 16k model that's been upgraded. A few mods have been done to it, and got a fair # of accessories
