Students are being allowed to use gender-neutral nouns, pronouns and adjectives in their Spanish, German and French lessons. I feel like it does raise questions about comedy and whether some things should be off limits. I think it was obviously a bad taste, disgusting joke, but he also made another comment about George Floyd. Which was also in bad taste It’s a tricky one because, obviously, they don’t actually believe that (well, at least I hope they don’t). It's in a sense them playing a character.

DISGRACEFUL: Pete Davidson made a disgusting Charlie Kirk joke at Kevin Hart’s roast. "Tony reminds me of Charlie Kirk, and that's he's definitely been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat.” That wasn’t comedy. That was vile and completely beneath the belt.

Jim Chalmers has stormed out of a press conference as he is asked about the extravagant spending of Anika Wells and her use of taxpayer funds “Is it fair for taxpayers to be paying for business class flights for family reunions?” That was enough for Jim.

Medhi’s strategy seems to be to talk over Michael Knowles and get grumpy every time he responds. The difference between Michael and Medhi was that Michael was happy to be there, whereas for Medhi, it seemed like he didn’t want to be there but was forced to . Plus, why was he bringing up random arguments as well—things that had nothing to do with the topic? Like the Pope?

It’s so tiring hearing this dialogue that Trump supporters are somehow evil. As somebody who comes from Australia, I can tell you that the people acting as though Trump is Hitler and his supporters are fascists are making one of the most stupid arguments ever. It has nothing to do with legislative purposes; it’s just cherry-picked information. You don’t have to agree with or like Trump, but at least make logical arguments.

For the left, the solution to having the ‘wrong’ consciousness is always gulags or graves.

This has nothing to do with the Palestinians; they don’t care about them. They will take any opportunity to justify anarchy. If these people actually wanted to help, they wouldn’t be doing stunts like this. They are basically full-time activists. Whether it’s BLM, climate change, or whatever the cause may be, they will eventually move on to the next thing and stop caring about Gaza.

These are tough results for Labour. There’s no sugarcoating it. We’ve lost brilliant Labour representatives who’ve stood up for their communities. People are still frustrated. Their lives aren’t changing fast enough. We haven’t offered enough hope or optimism for the future. I was elected to change this country - tough days like this don’t weaken my determination to do that. They strengthen it.
