Excited to share the initial v0 release of @GZILCollective's Framework. We've tried to make it as productive, fair and equitable as possible whilst considering the longevity of the fund. We know we won’t get everything perfect from the start so welcome your ideas & feedback🧵👇

✨ It’s #ChainWatchThursday, and what’s new with @zilliqa as the network continues reinforcing its infrastructure and ecosystem coordination? 🤔 ⚙️ Zilliqa recently completed its scheduled v0.21.0 mainnet upgrade focused on validator infrastructure, network resilience, and operational efficiency. The release introduced state pruning, RANDAO support, deposit contract upgrades, and more flexible checkpoint versioning, as the network continues to refine its validator architecture and protocol performance. 📊 Ecosystem transparency is also improving. Zilliqa’s tokenomics are now live on Tokenomics.com, providing a public breakdown of allocation structure, vesting schedules, unlock status, protocol revenue, and staking emissions, giving the community a clearer view into the network’s long-term economic design. 🏗 On the ecosystem side, GZIL Collective is reviewing the Season 1 grants framework before moving into Season 2. The review focuses on lessons learned from the first cohort of funded projects as the community treasury initiative prepares its next phase of ecosystem support. The broader direction remains consistent: Zilliqa is focusing on strengthening core infrastructure, improving transparency around network economics, and refining the frameworks that support long-term ecosystem growth. #Zilliqa #ChainWatch #Web3 #BlockchainInfrastructure #Tokenomics #Crypto

Lots of good news stories like this at present! The UK's relative strength in terms of venture capital investment, and how to build on it, probably ought to feature more heavily in the economic debate (might be easier when the politics calms down)

I am thrilled to share the news that Fractile's mission to build chips and systems that unlock the next generation of AI scaling has been bolstered, with a $220M funding round led by Accel, Factorial Funds, and Founders Fund, alongside some incredible backers old and new. AI inference is driving the defining infrastructure buildout of the 21st Century. We've written a bit about where we think capabilities must go, and how Fractile is working to bring this about: fractile.ai/news/fractile-… It has been a privilege working on one of the hardest but most rewarding technical challenges of our time for over three years, with the most brilliant, kind and driven people I could have ever hoped to work alongside. We are still just getting started. There is a lot to be done to deliver on our goals, but we are grateful to have the support of so many people in chasing these down every minute of every day. Thanks, all, for being part of the Fractile mission! 🚀 @fractile_ai

@GavinBarwell @Dirty_Pitchfork On winter fuel - why should pensioners on more than the median average UK income (protected by triple-lock), and with no mortgage or kids to pay for be paid an extra £300 per year when full-time employees earning much less than that are not? Means testing was the right approach.

@Dirty_Pitchfork I am not a Starmer hater e.g. I think he has done well on the international stage. But he has made some big mistakes eg winter fuel payments, political operation in Number 10, Mandelson, employee NICs and he has no real narrative about what his government is for domestically

Well pitched letter Clearly not right for him to stay in Cabinet if he has lost confidence in the PM Recognises Labour Party wants best field of candidates, so pushing for PM to facilitate that rather than launching a contest that would likely exclude @AndyBurnhamGM

Rhetoric vs reality in 🇬🇧 politics: Rhetoric: “Labour promised economic growth but has failed to deliver” Reality: UK had the highest growth among European nations in the G7 in 2025, & in the first quarter of 2026 it had better than expected growth 👇🏻 x.com/TorstenBell/st…
Torsten Bell@TorstenBell

A very strong start to 2026 -significantly above forecasts. GDP/capita rose 0.6% in first three months of 2026 (@OBR_UK expected gdp/capita to grow by 0.8% in 2026 as a whole)

UK GDP per head grew by 0.6% in q1 2026 to which is the fastest economic growth per capita in a quarter for 4 years… UK GDP growth itself is fastest of the 6 G7 countries that have reported so far (and Japan expected at 0.4%, would be fastest full stop) Quite the backdrop for a leadership challenge…

Only a tiny minority of hateful people feel sick to see non whites on TV . Having said that I'm fed up with the vast over representation and historically absurd placement of black people on tv and the media and the under representation of white men . I think you Asians are underrepresented too

‘Not a takeover.’ "Not an act of domination" And "if seeing black and brown people on TV makes you sick, this is going to make you vomit" BRAVO @NazShahBfd hits back at far-right rhetoric with humour and class bringing together the Labour Party and the house down with laughter.

Leave the infighting to the Tories. Keir Starmer has taken Labour from its worst defeat since 1935 to a place where we can win the next general election. He doesn’t get nearly enough credit for it. This is a team effort. I’m proud to support candidates who want Labour to win.
Labour to Win@labtowin

Ballots are set to drop for internal elections on Wednesday! With the successful candidates safeguarding internal party structures going into the next General Election, it is crucial that we elect candidates that are focused on putting Labour into power. Please share!🌹

What the FUCK? Sam Coates at Sky News warning the public that photos released by No 10, of Starmer, are “government propaganda” and “fake news”. He repeatedly tells people to NOT trust the photos. No broadcaster should show this level of overt bias. It is BEYOND fucked up.

Extraordinary allegations from @benhabib6 !! Ben Habib alleges that Nigel Farage & Boris Johnson were paid £1m each by Christopher Harborne to essentially rig the election in favour of Johnson. He also claims the undeclared £5m "gift" Farage received in 2024 from Harborne was payment for Farage to take over as party leader of Reform UK and stand in Clacton.
