@UtdPride @NathSalt1 I think our loan structure is flawed. Since Amad in Sunderland, we've not had a really successful youth loan spell. We need to do so much better there. I feel that's one area where the decline starts. I start to worry about Amass, Collyer, Kone, etc

I genuinely think our academy development structure needs to be examined. @NathSalt1 you’ve worked closely with our young players for years, so your insight would be valuable. How has the development pathway actually evolved over time, and is there reason for concern? Too many promising youngsters arrive with momentum, then stagnate or regress. That pattern isn’t coincidence, something in the system is failing them. Would appreciate your insight in this as a very concerned fan, @NathSalt1

Ideal depth for next season in UCL: GK: Lammens, Vitek LB: N.Brown, Dorgu, Shaw RB: Dalot, Maz RCB: De Ligt, Maguire, Yoro LCB: Heaven, Licha, Shaw DM: Tchouameni, Baleba CM: Mainoo, Mateus AM: Bruno, Mount LW: Cunha, Ndiaye RW: Mbeumo, Amad ST: Sesko, Zirkzee, Mbeumo, Cunha Ideally would replace Mount with a MGW, bring in another CB due to injury prone options and a new ST if Zirkzee leaves on top of this! But can only see us signing five players so went with Tchouameni, Baleba, Mateus, Ndiaye and N. Brown!

If you think Joseph was imprisoned just because he resisted her, read her first sentence. We usually treat this story like a basic lesson on resisting temptation. Joseph runs away, stays honest, and keeps his integrity. That’s all true. But we don’t spend enough time talking about what happens after he does the right thing. You could have ten years of perfect performance reviews. You’re the first one in the office and the last to leave. You’ve built a reputation as someone who doesn’t cut corners. People trust you. Your name commands attention in the room. Then someone with more power decides to tell a different story about you. In a single conversation, your ten-year track record suddenly feels vulnerable. The atmosphere changes. People start looking at you through the lens of an accusation instead of the person they’ve known. You realize something painful; that integrity does not always protect you when the other person controls the narrative. That is the real tension in Genesis 39. The Bible is careful to show how much Potiphar trusted Joseph. He put everything under his authority. Scripture even tells us Joseph was “handsome in form and appearance.” When Potiphar’s wife pursued him day after day, Joseph refused. He spoke from loyalty; “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” he said. Then he ran, leaving his garment in her hand. But see what happens next She called the men of the house and said, “See, he has brought among us a Hebrew to laugh at us.” She did not say “Joseph.” She did not say “the overseer.” She said, “a Hebrew.” When she spoke to her husband, she repeated it; “The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought among us…” Think about that for a moment… In one sentence, she pulled him out of his position and placed him back in his class. Suddenly he is no longer a trusted manager or faithful servant, just “a Hebrew”; an outsider. The coat in her hand became evidence, and the “Hebrew” label became the lens. When Potiphar heard his wife’s words, scripture says his anger burned. the Bible doesn’t record Joseph saying a single word to defend himself. He didn't argue his case. Genesis 39:20 simply says Potiphar took Joseph and put him into the prison. Now, Egyptian law usually meant execution for this kind of thing. The fact that Joseph only got prison suggests Potiphar might have had doubts, or maybe he was just trying to save face. We are not told. What we are told is that Joseph did everything right and still ended up in a cell. That's a lot to process. He refused, ran, honored God, and he still lost his position and reputation in a single afternoon. Imagine sitting there, the whole thing replaying in his mind; the offer, refusal, shouting, footsteps and anger. You did exactly what God wanted, and instead your reward was a dungeon and a ruined reputation. Nobody is clapping for you. There’s no big "thank you" for your obedience. And you know what, God didn't stop the lie. He didn't strike the woman or burn the house down to prove Joseph was innocent. He let the injustice happen. Only after Joseph is locked away the Bible says, "But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love". Joseph’s story proves that obedience isn't a strategy to get the outcome you want. It is a decision about who you will be when the outcome turns against you. That kind of faith does not look impressive. It looks like waking up in a place you don't deserve to be and refusing to let bitterness take over. You might be looking at your situation, waiting for "the truth" to come out so you can get your life back. but Joseph’s time in prison suggests your identity isn't found in being proven right, but in the fact that God is with you. He doesn't leave when your name is dragged through the mud. When doing the right thing costs you your reputation, who are you if no one ever clears your name? #Christianity #BiblicalTruth #FaithOverFeelings #Injustice #Integrity Ellis Enobun

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿English to become the official European language🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.  As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".  In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.  In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.  Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.  Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.  By the 4th yer peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".  During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensi bl riten styl.  Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi TU understand ech oza. What annoys me the most is the lack of attacking intent from Amorim to try and win games. 8 defensive players in the starting 11 feels anti united........ ovbs a lot of this is on INEOS as the options available today were not great, but I wish Amorim would take more risks and be more attacking.

Full time review: - Lammens excellent, dealt with everything that came his way well. - Cunha needs better players around him, when he gets a good pass he delivers. We're too reliant on him to do everything. - Zirkzee fantastic, assist, laid it on a plate for Sesko as well. - We looked so much better when we took off a CB for Zirkzee, he should have started. - Too many defensive players on the field in the first half, we controlled the game but we were too reliant on Dorgu/ Dalot doing something in the final third. - Ayden Heaven did well other than positioning for goal. - Ugarte was one of our better players today. - Licha, Yoro, Shaw all were decent. - Sesko needs to do better, the last two games we have created chances for him but he is not finishing them. - We miss Bruno big time. - Wish Amorim was more attacking in his approach because we have seen many times that when he tries to attack we look better. - 1 win in 5 is not good enough. Considering the players missing and form Leeds are in, we did alright. Amad, Mbeumo, Bruno all made huge misses in the final third. We win if they are fit. But frustrating to drop another two points vs a side we should be beating. Everton, Fulham, Wolves, Leeds, Bournemouth.. We need to be winning these games could be the difference between Europe or not.

No team wins anything with 11 players. We need a squad and we need quality to come off the bench, we need to rotate and be able to cover injuries. Go look at the last 20 teams to win the PL and they all had a core 16 - 18 top class quality players. Every top club will always have unhappy players sat on the bench not playing but the key is building the right culture that they dont fry like little babies when on the bench. Pep spoke about it last season that the hardest part of his job is keep 20+ players happy... hence he let Palmer, Alveraz and numerous others leave in pursuit of 1st team opportunities. We as fans need to stop fueling "free Kobbie" "free Amad" and "Free Donny" shitty movements and players need to go back to fighting for their place and accepting you kight not start week in, week out.

If United somehow sign Semenyo (I STRONGLY doubt it happens)… Who is sacrificed in the attack if Amorim is pivoting to a 4-3-3/4-4-2? It’s required depth with two matches a week, but could risk leaving one or two players unhappy if we don’t qualify for Europe again.

@BryantMsalili @TheCoachesZone Thanks for bringing this up. Months ago, he said his 3-4-3 is flexible and adapts to opponents. Also, when the players are familiar, it will evolve. Some media outlets twist his words and confuse us a lot. Listening to his actual words, he's always maintained this stance.

@willyhiggins @TheCoachesZone What does that say about Amorim himself? Because he's been adamant that he's wedded to his 3-4-3 and won't change even for the pope? Does it mean he doesn't know what he's doing or players are just doing what they want on the field?

@AdamMUFC24 @AnnemarieDray Agreed. The club isn't in the best state for youth players. You'd have to be at Yoro, Garnacho, heaven level to play. Most youngsters aren't. Haven seen what happened with Garnacho, he's been careful but blunt. He should watch his words in pressers tho. Our media & fans are toxic

You are correct, it wasn't anywhere near as harsh as people are making out. However I don't think he fully understands the context why our online fans place so much emphasis on youth players, and how much the media use that for engagements from angry fans. If he earns himself the time to prove it, I'm sure he will show how much he loves using youth players and integrating them. At Sporting he built a reputation worldwide as being one of the best at integrating youth into the first team. I believe in time he will prove this.

I watched Amorim press conference & I don’t think what he says about Mainoo, Amass, Obi & Collyer is as harsh as it is being interpreted from reading the quotes in isolation. But I don’t think he fully ‘gets’ the importance club places on youth players. And that truly saddens me.

On the ball going forward some great stuff today. Off the ball structurally we have been shocking. I said in my half time review we need to fix it up at half time, and we haven’t. This is the type of game where maybe adding a third midfielder could help for control. I wonder if we have a midfielder that brings control rotting on the bench? Midfield has been torn apart OOP.

🚨Last year the gap between João Neves and Manuel Ugarte was literally €10m — and United, with Ten Hag, were convinced Ugarte was the better pick. At the time it felt like Benfica were just scaring everyone away with a huge price tag for Neves, while Ugarte looked like the “safer, smarter” option. Fast-forward to today and… yeah, the reality is painful — João Neves has walked into PSG’s midfield like he owns the place. Calm, composed, press-resistant, already playing with the maturity we desperately needed. Ugarte? The effort is there, but the control isn’t. The composure isn’t. When Casemiro steps off the pitch, the whole midfield collapses — and Ugarte hasn’t been able to take that weight the way Neves already can at 21. Looking back, that €10m difference meant absolutely nothing. Neves was the one with the higher ceiling, the perfect profile, the long-term answer… and we let the price scare us off or Ten Hag had a preference of Ugarte before him. We backed the wrong midfielder. It’s obvious now. Neves should’ve been the priority. Next time, we can’t let the right player slip through our hands again. #MUFC
