The body doesn’t lie. When emotions have no outlet, the nervous system finds one. It produces pain. It produces gut symptoms. It produces fatigue, dizziness, numbness, and dozens of other physical experiences that are completely real but have no structural cause. This isn’t weakness. It’s biology. And once you understand it, recovery becomes possible.

@BowTiedHRT How times have changed. In the early 1980s, when women in weight rooms were exceptionally rare, an occasional woman would perform overhead presses bare breasted and topless. Women had the free range of motion that the men had when they were shirtless.

Gym dude says kindly but warily: “Hey man, can I help you?” Me: “All good.” Gym dude again kindly but a little more directly: “it seems like you’re looking at my girl in the mirror and it’s bothering her.” Me: “Sorry bro, both of her nipples are out and I was wondering whether or how to say something.” Gym dude: “Fuck! Both of them!! Thanks man.” High fives and that was that.

CAGEDJOCK (STOCKHOLM APRIL 7-12)
FISTING METHOD: “TELL ME A STORY” The first time you take a fist, it can be a very overwhelming experience, which may put your body into defense mode. It’s important to try different methods to help get the fist in. One method that’s rarely discussed is called “Tell Me a Story.” I use this technique to distract the bottom from overthinking. When you talk, your body relaxes. When you have to think, it shifts your attention away from your hole, which helps the muscle loosen up. This method may sound silly, but it’s very effective and one I’ve used many times to get my fist in successfully. Pick any topic you want to talk about: What did you do yesterday? What’s your favorite dish to cook? Tell me about your favorite movie, etc. If he cannot think, give him a book and get him to read it out loud. It doesn’t matter what he talks about. The only important thing is that he doesn’t stop talking. While he talks, keep your fist moving slowly and apply steady pressure to ease it in. This video captures the actual moment I took @MiloMilesxxx’s fisting virginity. Watch the video and pay attention to this method.

Less than a year ago, the Air Force unveiled a new PT test with a two mile run. Airmen took to social media to complain how the new increased length would cause injuries. This weekend, an Air Force Colonel, more than likely in their mid to late 40s, ran 5 miles up a mountain to escape the enemy. Running matters. You should do more of it.

This is your official playbook for the S&P 500 over these next 3 months… Next week $SPY will see a false break above the 200SMA at $662 concluding the “dead cat” bounce, & begin its final selloff cycle. Late April/Early May, $SPY bottoms near $600 marking a prior ATH retest. From here we squeeze to ATH’s by end of July. Save this for later…

I’m seeing a new breed in the gym. Young guys who live in the cable machine area, always doing those unilateral cable exercises without handles. Lot of them do have some development in arms and delts, but the rest of them is absent. They turn sideways and A-P thickness is nonexistent—they really disappear. Zero back thickness. No traps or rhomboids. Usually smallish pecs. And even though they have some delt development, somehow their shoulders are still narrow. Oh and of course, stick legs covered in joggers.

@1sPlaza @shanetrained Hot take: Science base lifting created a lot of weird looking physiques and a cop out for many to be huge pussies in the gym

I just heard from a source very close to top of the White House that, following today’s shootdown of an F-15, an A-10, and the successful hits on multiple helicopters and other aircraft, the WH is choosing further escalation, including US troops on the ground. This would be madness. I truly hope that someone in the Pentagon or elsewhere can prevent this from happening. If anything was proven today, it’s that Iranian AD is still very capable and very intact. Any US ground operation will be heavily reliant on helicopters and other slow-moving airframes. Despite the assertions of both the Pentagon and POTUS, it is crystal clear that we have not reduced Iranian AD to the point where a ground operation is even a remotely wise decision. Let alone potentially inserting by air and then being exclusively reliant on an air corridor for things such as resupply and CASEVAC. History is replete with examples where this reliance has been disastrous. Further, the hard part would be after troops were on the objective. Our lack of manpower leaves little room for maneuver, and once static (which would be required), Americans will become a stationary target for the entire inventory of Iranian indirect fire capabilities on Iranian soil, and it is a recipe for failure. Simply put, this is not an existential war for the US's survival. It’s a war of choice that should never have happened in the first place, and POTUS should be finding a way out, rather than clumsily and recklessly sacrificing America’s finest.

Want to outperform the S&P 500 $SPY Do the opposite of everyone else. When $VIX goes above 30: People panic. Buy. Above 40: People think the world is ending. Buy more. Back under 15: Everyone gets greedy. Sell. The biggest returns usually come when fear is highest.

I needed to update a hotel reservation today, so I called them. A prompt asked me to press 1 if I was making a new reservation or 2 if I had an existing reservation. I pressed 2. It asked me to leave a message, and they would get back to me. Instead of leaving a message, out of curiosity, I called back and pressed 1. They picked up immediately and handled my request. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - it shouldn't be easier to get to a sales rep than a customer service rep. When this is the reality, it says a lot about a company culturally and what it prioritizes.

Socrates is showing: March could be a low for USD, we have a Directional Change, and volatility rising in June. Panic Cycles in July even in our War Index. Capital flows will shift into the USA with escalating war in Europe and the Middle East.

After 214 trading days, the S&P 500 closed beneath it's 200-day MA this week. Since 1950, when the S&P 500 closes above this trendline the annualized return is 21.1%. When it closes beneath? -22.2%. Proving once again that bad things tend to happen beneath this trendline.

Save this as your $SPY gameplan for the next 4 months… Markets have officially bottomed on Friday as I predicted weeks ago which follows in guidance to RSI, MACD, & volume readings. In late April, $SPY will top near $690, just to selloff until Early June down to $615. This gameplan will play out just like I predict. Mark my words…

@TradeTheSpread @wolfstrength Both squads and deadlifts are excellent compound movements. A lot of dudes go light on squats because they feel wasted after a squat heavy day.

Deadlift and it isn’t particularly close. - Closest thing to a full body stimulus in one movement - Trains posterior chain + quads + entire back + grip + abs/trunk, trap, lats, and triceps isometrically. Even the pecs to a small extent get isometric work - Most people can lift the most weight for a full ROM in a DL = huge systemic stress and adaptive response - "Carryover to real life" - learning proper positioning for lifting stuff off the ground, and being strong at it, is a highly useful movement pattern Ironically the thing that makes some hypertrophy bois hate the DL, the fact that it doesn't isolate and target any one muscle group to a high degree, is what makes it the best choice if you could only do one exercise.
R@TheK_Nox

If you could only do 1 exercise for the rest of your life what would it be?

@chicagobars There are different kinds of THC. Only Delta nine is hallucinogenic. A tablespoon of nutmeg powder dissolved in water is more intoxicating than delta 8 THC. any child of any age can walk into any grocery store and legally buy nutmeg.

So no gas station in Chicago can sell beer and anybody who CAN sell (heavily “sin” taxed) beer can only sell to adults 21+ BUT Chicago gas stations now CAN sell (no sin tax) THC drinks to anyone regardless of age? 🤯🤦‍♂️💸

@ChristineTatum @John_Kass @julie_kelly2 @drawandstrike @SecDuffy What do you not understand about self governance? The people of Chicago have decided that public marijuana consumption is the least important law enforcement priority. Chicago residence have rejected the drug war and the criminalization of cannabis consumers.

Am on a flight out of Chicago and bound for NYC as I thumb type this. I have ridden much public transportation in the last couple of months. BOTH cities are dealing with this chaos, much of which is DRUG-INDUCED behavior. The foul odor of marijuana is almost always present, and many of the people I have observed making a ruckus in public spaces smell of it. Anything short of actually enforcing laws and conducting tests to determine the nature of impairment guarantees these risks to public safety — and health — will continue.

@vergaramig75 @FrankCalabrese @chi_urbanist Nope. 15% lower property taxes on homeowners while those with vacant land have a disincentive to just sit on it. if holders of vacant land build on it, they can improve the value and generate income. The county will reap more taxes from the higher property value. everybody wins!

@vergaramig75 @FrankCalabrese @chi_urbanist He will lead an initiate efforts to up zone unincorporated Cook County. He will further lead in initiate efforts to reclassify the tax on vacant land, applying the tax for commercial real estate. this will reduce property taxes to homeowners by 15% and foster development.
