I am appalled to hear about the 31 sloths who died under the “care” of the not yet opened Sloth World in Orlando. These sloths — naturally solitary animals — were put in the worst conditions possible. They were taken from their natural habitats to a packed warehouse that wasn’t properly heated and allowed for the spread of deadly viruses, leading to a stress-induced death. On Sunday morning, Shamar Elkins (31), shot and killed eight children in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is former military. The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office said the victims were five girls and three boys, ranging in age from 3 to 11. Jayla Elkins (3), Shayla Elkins (5), Kayla Pugh (6), Layla Pugh (7), Markaydon Pugh (10), Sariahh Snow (11), Khedarrion Snow (6), and Braylon Snow (5). Seven were siblings, and one was a nephew. Shreveport Police shared that 10 people were struck with gunfire. Two adult women were hospitalized with serious injuries and are expected to survive. One of the women is his current wife. The two women are the mothers of his children. His wife has been trying to separate from Shamar Elkins. He obviously did not take it very well. 💔 Shamar Elkins recently told people he was struggling with his mental health.

In response to our investigations, senior officials under RFK Jr. have pressured our board members to shut down our criticism of the NIH, in apparent violation of federal ethics rules.
