@knowfaking @PaulTassi @CGwyndolin Funnily enough 2/4 of the games you mentioned are either entirely extraction shooter (hunt) or have an extraction shooter mode (division dark zone, the first extraction shooter) which i think supports the idea that it can get better.

@PaulTassi @CGwyndolin Siege. Hunt: Showdown. No man's sky. The division. So many live service games have had mid launches, and lived to find greatness. Extraction shooters don't have the same wide appeal, so of course it's initial footing is rough. You're a fool, blinded by his own desires & wants.

Yes, my personal frustration with Marathon's genre is causing reality to reshape itself to make the game underperform. This is what's happening, I report that. I don't care if it's not what you want to hear Is saying you wish an artist hadn't switched genres after listening to them for 25 years "anti-art"? You aren't "demanding" they didn't, it's just a bummer. And it certainly doesn't feel great if the album flops on top of that

I see people post steam charts and it’s obvious they don’t understand how numbers work. Most players are playing for a few hours, a good range is about 2 per player, for the sake of simplicity this means that roughly every 2 hours there’s a new 10k players.

if youre a d2 player i HIGHLY reccomend trying out another MMO until D2 gets some content. Final Fantasy 14 & World of Warcraft are both INCREDIBLE games with SOO much to do. Raids are so incredibly fun and get hard fast. being rewarded for doing anything hard is cool too lmfao
