🇷🇺🇪🇺 "If Russia attacked an EU member, Putin's goal wouldn't necessarily be to conquer it, but to cause 24 hours of hesitation in Brussels about how Europe would respond. His aim is to prove that the European Union as a project, and NATO as a project, are false", assessed @DmytroKuleba, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine 🇺🇦, in a discussion with @TdeMontbrial at the @WorldPolicyConf 2026. 🎥🔴Watch the full replay of the discussion on Youtube: youtu.be/qmzuYnnIu5U?si…

I work in alcohol. My living is from people drinking. Even in booze - you would never, ever, turn up to your next meeting having been drinking. How on earth is that acceptable for people that make decisions for the whole country?

GitHub outages since Microsoft acquisition 🤣

The brits are right. Instead of building a stadium 9 miles* from Manhattan* we could’ve just chucked the whole meadowlands complex in Central Park!

“Chornobyl” is the only correct spelling Ukraine asks the world to use. Using Ukrainian transliterations respects Ukraine’s language and culture and moves away from Russian forms that were imposed by Russia during the Soviet era. It is also part of a wider effort to decolonise language and correct long-standing imbalances in global usage. Using the correct transliteration for a place in Ukraine affirms recognition of Ukraine as a sovereign state – a fact Russia tries to deny. We welcome the decision of states and international organisations to adopt the Ukrainian spelling of Chornobyl, including in the UN resolution of December 10, 2025. Like Kyiv, Chornobyl reflects Ukrainian pronunciation and thus aligns with the global practice of updating place names for linguistic correctness. The successful shift from the Russian spelling “Kiev” to the Ukrainian “Kyiv” is a clear example of this trend. All Ukrainian cities deserve to have their names rendered correctly. #ChornobylNotChernobyl #Chornobyl40

Such nonsense. He 'struggled' so hard he went on to become Taoiseach of the country. @LeoVaradkar

EU's von der Leyen: We must succeed in completing the European continent so that it is not influenced by Russia, Türkiye, or China.

@primadonnatella "they lack the ability to speak out..." Noble savage bullshit. Go learn russian before ever commenting on Russia again, because otherwise you can't understand it. As an aside Russian libs are universally stupid and suffer from selective memory of how their policies worked.

This new commie talking point, that there is only a binary choice between Soviet Union and Putins Russia, is so laughable I wonder how long it will take you to figure out no one in Europe will buy this. Because the outcome in both cases remains the subjugation of half of Europe.
