@wolflovesmelon Your voice will be magnified by tens of thousands, because the message is pure and you're saying the quiet part out loud. Thank you for your bravery and your humble dedication with a very simple sentiment, which is really what we all need right now.

I will soon be leaving the bridge. I want to give heartfelt thanks for all the outpouring of support. My purpose here has been to fulfill my duty to the truth- to call on the people of this country to recognize and exercise the revolutionary power within us- the power of collective nonviolent action and non-cooperation with evil- by which we can bring an end to these hateful wars and the murders committed in our names. It is only with the passive compliance of millions- our obedience- our willingness to continue to do what's expected of us: to go to work, to school, to pay our rents, our mortgages and our taxes, that the Trump regime can remain in power and these wars continue.
One man on a bridge is relatively powerless, but the collective withdrawal of our obedience and support is capable of bringing a swift end to the regime and its wars. This nonviolent collective action is our greatest power and it is the exercise of this power that those who rule fear more than any weapon. For the sake of the world, its children, and our future let us build this power with each other, together.

@ron_eisele We have never been so s*** hot cool since the days of the Space Shuttle program. Need more of this kind of inspiration.

@carlabitcoin Beautiful. What a joy to walk solo, and to see Spring's gift. Hoping it's a metaphor for your recovery 👍🏻

@BDHerzinger Twisted into pretzel knots to make a flawed argument, yup. Hmmm, I preferred the Navy where the boss gets to make the rules, and we subordinate ourselves to his or her authority without breathless sea-lawyer quibbling.
English

@WillRuckforBeer I never knew there so many sexist, bigoted, "Never Been in Command" experts on Command on X!! Actually I did know that already...
English

@TimOnPoint Sorry, but if you don't like the law or policies or procedures or SOPs, or women bosses, then the Navy's not the right place for you. Or, get yourself promoted to Admiral and then you can change the rules.
English

@carlabitcoin Wonder. It's about people. Enjoy, bring tissues. m.imdb.com/title/tt254347…

@HormuzLetter This is objective proof that president and his National Security team are total idiots.
English

BREAKING: President Trump announces the US Navy will begin “blockading any and all ships trying to enter or leave” the Strait of Hormuz, effective immediately, on Truth Social.
Trump says the talks failed solely on Iran’s refusal to abandon nuclear weapons, and that the Navy will also interdict vessels in international waters that paid tolls to Iran.
English

@EODHappyCaptain This is patently untrue. You obviously never heard the misogynistic cadence that starts, "I wish all the ladies were pies on the shelf...." Or the ditty, "I knew a little gal, she's a Pensacola gal...". Anyway, marching to cadence is not about killing & neither is boot camp.
English

The entire point of basic training is indoctrination. American Soldiers are trained to kill; that’s how you protect your country when diplomacy doesn’t work.
I went to infantry basic training in 2008. Every cadence, every story, and every bit of training was focused on preparing for that.
You have to make the mental shift to prepare for combat. Talking about it is how you accomplish that.

@HodlMagoo Uhmm, think Occam's Razor. Too far for helicopters alone, needed to fly into the area with smaller rescue choppers. S*** got broken, and they had to run away fast. Nothing fishy, but conspiracy theories abound.
English

@FPWellman It's indeed terrible for the Army to be led by a person whose Active Duty experience is leading an Army platoon as a commissioned officer. Anybody attacking Fred for this observation needs to hold a little bit higher standard for the Service. Fred isn't the problem here...
English

Absolutely terrible for the Army.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell could replace Army Secretary Dan Driscoll if he's fired next, three admin officials told me Pete Hegseth's own fear of being fired and replaced by Driscoll is driving tension with Army, current and former officials said nypost.com/2026/04/03/us-…

@LukeGromen @TFL1728 What's wrong about the argument is the chokepoint isn't about Naval power alone - It's about the proximity of land to water, when precision long-range land-based munitions are ubiquitous and low cost. In today's world, the Naval side of the equation is nearly irrelevant.
English

@TFL1728 What is wrong about it Tom?
Please include any thoughts on why Erik Prince, former Tier 1 operator and head of Blackwater is wrong in his assessment, as his views influenced my thinking on the matter:

What’s most impressive about this clip is that Luke says it with such a straight face.

"You control naval choke points, you control the world. That's been enforced for 400 to 500 years. Iran, probably not even a top ten military, is now doing that to the United States Navy." -via @LukeGromen

@Chicanatravels Keep it up Senior!!... never woulda survived my first tour without a competent and tough Senior Chief at my side. Ignore the sad, sad haters.

@curtiseveryday Former rotary wing Naval Aviator here... Always wanted to make the astronaut program but never had the right stuff, so I'm living the dream through your brother Victor. So proud to see those Wings of Gold up there once more!!

@NASAAdmin @POTUS Huh? Is that like "giving up" L1/L2? Or "giving up" Geo??
