The beauty of the Tru40 is that you can comparatively test athletes across sports and conditions. So when the weather or logistics don't allow you to test 40s or 60s, you can come inside and get a Tru40 from 10-20yd splits. Great for basketball, rainy days, and PE classes!

Belted marching has been one of the more transformative things in our system. As soon as we started, we saw massive spikes in jumps, and large drops on change of direction tests like the 5-10-5 and L drill.

Ya’ll ever seen a kid jump high on a Jump Mat or OVR… And NOT be explosive in another arena or test? I haven’t. An Athlete that can Jump High on one test will Jump High on another. The game is just being explosive.

I was on a Consult call today with a Coach and we were talking what drives the Sprint times… 1. Accumulating Max Effort Sprints multiple times a week 2. Increase Squat and Hinge Strength 3. Improve Foot/Ankle Strength 4. Properly Loaded Jumps 5. Patience Simple really🙌🏻

S&C is not meant to develop sport skill… It’s meant to develop a wider base of skill potential. Simply, a faster athlete has the potential to run a better route. A stronger athlete has the potential to block better. S&C should be focused on improving force capabilities🙌🏻💪🏻
