My son was pulled out of class to watch a flag-raising ceremony, not for Canada, not for Remembrance Day, but a flag for sexual preferences and identity. We teach respect and tolerance at home. But this feels more like indoctrination than education. Let kids be kids.

It is with humility and appreciation that I have accepted Damien Kurek’s offer to resign his seat in Battle River-Crowfoot so that I can work to earn the support of citizens there to serve them in Parliament. Damien’s selfless act to step aside temporarily as a Member of Parliament shows his commitment to change and restoring Canada’s promise. I will work to earn the trust of the good people of Battle River-Crowfoot and I will continue to hold the Liberal minority government to account until the next federal election, when we will bring real change to all Canadians.

This is how contagious measles is. Someone can walk into a room cough or sneeze then walk out of the room. An unvaccinated person can walk into the same empty room two hours later and get infected. It's one of the most contagious diseases in the world.

I have been to urgent care/medical clinics/ER a few times this season (I have little kids) so when people are coughing and sneezing all over the place and you don’t know what they have, I definitely feel more comfortable with mask mandate🤷‍♀️

During covid, I lost friends to the vax & suicide and the rest of the friends I lost, were for speaking the truth. My own mother wouldn't see me and refused to see her granddaughter because we were unvaxxed. My grandmother wouldn't see us until late 2023 and even then she brought up the vaccine and why it was my fault she couldn't see us. They all blamed us for it and still do. They blamed me for missing 4 years of my daughters life. Everyone was locked down, a great friend just died at 33, many were suffering and yet a lot of our family members and Friends were more concerned about your vaccine status, than mental health or well-being. But all in the name of "health" & "caring". I cried over and over to the people I lost forever but never the ones who abandoned us. I didn't shed a single tear, I never will and I hold them all personally responsible for their behaviour and actions. God bless my father, who is the only other one in the entire family that saw through this and stood his ground, despite the cancer, the tracheotomy and the hate he received for not masking.

Actually, Doctors wear masks primarily to prevent their respiratory droplets (from talking, coughing, or sneezing) from contaminating sterile fields during surgeries and procedures. And that's far from 100% effective as blocking smaller airborne pathogens like COVID isn't possible. They act as an inhibitor rather than a complete preventative measure.
