I just came here to say that I am so blessed where I am that folks at @figma aren't like family they ARE Family and stepped up to help when my partner and I were in crisis. It's been a hard couple of weeks for us—She became severely ill with a rare condition on day one of our eight year anniversary vacation. We are thousands of miles from home, and it's been 16 days in the hospital fighting. There are many unpredictable things about large scale events, including how many people will arrive and when. We've planned for and are hopeful that all attendees will have a spot in the main stage, but should we run out of space for the opening keynote - have no fear, we have an overflow space from which to watch it. We send a lot of #Config2024 reminder emails, you may or may not read them (you should read them). So here's the ‼️ top five (ok its six I couldn't choose) things you need to know if you're coming to Config IRL next week. ‼️ ------- 📆 Do I have to build my agenda and grab spots at sessions ahead of time? Yes! We built an agenda builder so you can grab spots at sessions, so please ... grab spots at sessions. We'll be scanning badges at each session so if you haven't grabbed a spot ahead of time, you won't be able to go to that session. 🎟️ Can I cancel or transfer my ticket? You can cancel your ticket for a full refund up until June 25th at 6am PT. You are ✨not able to sell or transfer your ticket ✨ to another person. Please note that we require government issued IDs at check in. 🚪 How will I check in? Don't forget to bring a government issued ID! The name on your ID and the name on your Config ticket must match. Badge pick-up will begin on Tuesday, June 25th at Moscone South. Full hours below: Tuesday, June 25: 11:30AM-7:30PM PST Wednesday, June 26: 7AM-4:30PM PST Thursday, June 27: 7AM-4:30PM PST 💃🏻 What other Config events can I attend? Hi, my name is Azra - I lead the Config team at Figma. I'm really sorry your experience has been frustrating. We know it took us a while to launch a multi ticket purchase flow, and that the policy around transferring tickets can be frustrating. We don't allow transfers of tickets for a few reasons, but mostly to make getting Config tickets a fair experience for our entire community (particularly since we are sold out). Of course we always honor cancellations. We look forward to welcoming your team at Config next week, and hope you have a great experience in SF.

I got a couple of extra tickets for @figma Config, but the event does not allow transferring tickets to other attendees. 😕 Does anyone know if there is a way to get around this? I would love to give other young and upcoming designers opportunities to attend!

@messwork @figma Hi Es, Azra here - I lead the Config team at Figma! We don't allow transfers of tickets for a handful of reasons, but mostly to make getting Config tickets a fair experience for our entire community. Once we're sold out, we honor cancellations but not ticket transfers.
