If I were running @CDCgov, I’d address the crushing rise in sudden deaths. I don’t think ignoring 🐘 the elephant in the room is good for public health. I guess @CDCDirector doesn’t agree.

Lots of people will wake up one day with a new chronic illness and won't think to connect it to the "cold" they had a year ago. Because they've been lied to about what Sars2 is and does. People unable to work, study, or play due to ill-health will soar - in fact it already is

Over the next 3 months there will be 50-100k COVID deaths and 100s of thousands will be permanently brain damaged and disabled.

@Michael59503746 @Novavax AZ - it's a 6 hour drive to a city with Novavax that doesn't have access to our state vax database (for 5 of us) or a lie about identity in state & then no records to prove vax when traveling abroad.

@doctorvasan @US_FDA @CDCgov 6+ hrs by car from a larger city in a different state and w/ a statewide vax database means that I either have to do an overnight for all 3 shots for 5 people in my family or lie about my name, meaning I won't have a record which may matter when I travel abroad. Tough decision.

Pfizer has an added incentive to keep it’s updated bivalent vaccine (and Moderna) as the mainstay. It’s the $ 10.6 billion revenue from Paxlovid. Widespread distribution of #Novavax will potentially reduce Pax usage due to long lasting reduction in C19 transmission.
