Putin spoke at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.
He blamed the West for the "Ukrainian crisis" and said that "the root causes of the crisis" must be removed in order for peace to come.
Looks like Putin has made his choice: he's going to continue the war.

Russia is committing the genocide of Ukrainians. Russia strikes our cities, kills peaceful people, kills children.
It steals hundreds and thousands of Ukrainian children, tortures captured Ukrainian soldiers and civilians, consistently breaks the laws of war, murders, rapes, steals.
Ukrainians are defending ourselves.
Ukraine's main goal is to stop the war and live in a peaceful, safe country.
Russia's goals are terrorism, aggression, genocide.
I am thankful to everyone for supporting my country.
Any conscious decision and work have an impact.
Only real actions are capable of bringing peace to Ukraine.
