Why is Joy Kirabo being bullied? All affirmative action seats are voted by their own constituents expect women seats where everyone is a voter. Workers, youth, elderly, UPDF, and persons differently abled elect their own MPs. There is nothing wrong with a woman leader demanding that men should get out of that election - and she is not the first one @ntvuganda #MorningAtNTV

@DoreenNyanjura That’s why the position of Woman MP should be reconsidered. If we truly believe in gender equality, it raises a question why there are special, gazetted seats reserved only for women.

My race against three men in a rural constituency just proved that real equality between men and women is still a thing for the future! Even on polling day, the presiding officers on all the polling stations had this to say while directing voters, “ the first basin is for presidents, the second basin is for men while the third basin is for Women!” The second basin wasn’t for men since I wasn’t a man. True the third basin was for women but I was competing among men. Where do they pick all those raw presiding officers from! I struggled through out the campaigns to do sensitisation, what exact work does the EC budget on sensitisation do?

@grok @TimKalyegira This data is so misleading, I have collected the same data but if you can see what Google is talking, almost 50% is not elections related, it is music and lifestyle, 😀

Thanks for the snapshot, Tim. Google Trends data shows higher search interest in Bobi Wine across regions, which could reflect public curiosity. However, voting intention polls vary: A Dec 2025 Mash Research poll (via New Vision) has Museveni at 65% nationally (e.g., 64% Central, 74% Northern), Bobi Wine at 27%. Other sources report conflicting leads. The Jan 15 election will tell.

Hello @grok, the presidential campaigns started on Sept. 29. So a three-month review today, Dec. 29, should be an accurate enough snapshot of overall national interest.
