@morris_que14 Japanese people online resemble their general population in real-life, most Japanese people are socially retarded, close human interaction is alien to them and everything is conducted by performative manners that lack substance

It’s wild how the auto translate feature on X has almost single-handedly butchered Japan’s reputation on here. Lmao.

@LimesOverLemons @morris_que14 Japanese people are not people. As shown by their bizzare excitement for being slaves as opposed to natural human desire for freedom

I think Chinese people have always hated Japan. The Westerners love Japan as a racist country that only prioritizes Japanese and is also polite to White people. Everyone just expects Japanese to be racist and also polite about it. So when Japanese says "We don't like Chinese/White/Black people", Westerners just say "See that's the country we respect. I don't want to be Japanese. I will be proudly American and respect our Japanese friends".

He explained it to me yesterday, I don't remember the details. But he basically said that it's a task that does require some level of judgement, and Claude kept removing things or keeping things in. He actually ran the same task twice, and Claude did choose different actions each time in what to include. So yes, having super tight scoping or rules based would help with this for sure. But throwing it into something that requires judgment and then having it make different decisions each time on the same task is what caught him off guard. My point is that it's going to take a long time for companies to fully utilize this technology to the point where it replaces employees across a firm. And by that point I think there's a good chance people have adapted.

I talked to a buddy that is head of revenue over a large publicly traded company. He says they have tried Claude a number of times to automate some of their tasks, and it will continually do things they didn't want, make changes they didn't expect, and require someone to catch the mistakes it makes. The demos of Claude on X are cool, but don't be mistaken. It still requires humans to look over every aspect of what it's doing. The unemployment rate in the us is 4.3%, which is considered fully employed. Don't believe the doom and gloom.

@quemirasdoown_ @Sakura_LR I'm a bit surprised it's mostly Latin Americans and Russians. I'm seeing a handful of Americans, but I thought there'd be more. Maybe it's because I'm engaging with Latin Americans more than Americans here and it's feeding into my algorithm.

@suu48693805 Americans have these christians called evangelicals. I often compare the worst of the specific evangelical culture that raised me to japanese culture, seeing japan as a worse version of it. I'm confident in my judgment now.

The great translation movement on X pushed by Elon sparked another internet war, this time between Japanese, Russian/Brazilian users Initially Japanese users throw a fit about piracy of anime in places like Russia and Brazil but it quickly escalated:

@108_SNOW_WHITE2 @Nn5641356188827 That's how I feel talking to right wing Japanese people when i bring up all the war crimes and atrocities they committed on other Asian countries. All of the sudden everyone forgets, there are excuses and reasonings or they outright just dont care. I Would rather pirate manga

Shorono@_Shorono_

@oshino_sasuke I think this is what bothers westerners the most. IF you check Share, Winny or Perfect Dark pckldg.com/p2p/node.php perfectdark.benri-tool.net it is full of Japanese nodes pirating every day. So since a westerner doesn't have tatemae they think: "Aren't the Japanese just liars?"

@AOIKEN72 @testermelon piracy is a service issue. this isn't up for debate. you have consistently seen piracy plummet in use when people have been given better, more efficient means of consuming material. when netflix was at its peak, torrenting dropped. when the "streamer wars" happened, it came back
