@Fabio_1808 @222rainclouds It's not. It's more efficient. If the walls are thin the house will heat up fast when the ac turns off. In an insulated house once you cool down the ac runtime is much lower.

@xHorsen @222rainclouds You missunderstood me. I didn't claim that it didn't work both ways, just that is not efficent and very expensive to do so, compared to American Homes which are build with thinner walls and ligther Materials.

@222rainclouds The electricity costs are the main reason for it. Also, our Houses are built to retain heat. (Litterally...) We also have longer Dayligth hours than most other Countries (up to 20h), which basicly slow cooks us durring Summer, since the Air can't really cool down at nigth.

@Tenzur_ @Odesa8888 @twrIdd That's not how insulation works. If your house is insulated well it will keep the outside heat from entering as well once you cool it down. It works both ways.

@xHorsen @munsplit This is completely false. The same UE4 feature set in UE5 is up to twice as fast (ie UE5 features turned off). This is because Epic didn't stop optimising the classic paths. You are probably just mis-attributing it or missing something. There's loads of blogs proving this.

nah, unreal haters dont get it just turn off lumen+nanite+vsm and you got yourself a very performant easy to work with engine with many cool features and tons of learning materials around it. blueprints is a blessing imo.

.....This is the worst I've ever seen the DOA competitive and "community leaders" look, out of all my time knowing them. I kept warning them over and over, but they wouldn't listen. This is a classic example of ignoring your real fanbase for too long. You guys call them (casuals) or (gremlins), but they are the lifeblood of the series you champion so much. You have to respect their wishes and wants out of the IP because, without them, you have nothing. They pay your way. It's basically too late to even change your reputation with the casual base anymore; you burned them for too long. Now all you can do is ride the miserable rollercoaster that you created.

@xHorsen @munsplit Except UE5 has quite a lot of great backend tools that either doesn't exist or was unusable on UE4, like improved Control Rig, State Tree, GAS (though personally I use my own ability managers), granular IK Retargeter, etc.

@StudioONE78852 Her overwatch 2 model uses the same proportions because they share a rig (for backwards skin compatibility, I assume) Her body shape was adjusted for the new default skin, but it's not significant. I think her legs are just thicker.
