Everyone is frustrated because they want to see the Epstein files and I do too, but here are the facts: As of today, the DOJ has completed a review of over 5 million documents, conducted by over 500 attorneys, and they are ready to be released NOW. However, Obama appointed Judge Paul Engelmayer has ordered a SECOND review of those documents and is now requiring certification of those documents by U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton, while simultaneously blocking the appointment of a special counsel. This is causing MAJOR delays. I will be bringing forward a bill to IMPEACH Judge Engelmayer for obstructing the release of the Epstein files and failure to appoint special counsel! Release the files!

I’ve never done a pool, but I’ve done a lot of concrete work and I’ve done my own excavation and done my own forms and poured and all that. What does $35,000 exactly get you? If I get this house that I’m working on right now, I’m definitely going to do a pool, but I’m tempted to do it myself - would hire some concrete day laborers of course.

The problem is simple: interest rates are too high. High interest rates are hurting RE. It is hurting home services because homeowners can’t refi or cash out cheaply. And it is affecting other areas of the economy too. Interest rates are about a point too high. The FED funding rate should be close to or equivalent to the rate of inflation (2.7-3%).

We're in a silent recession. What I'm seeing: 1) Real estate struggling bad. None of my friends in this business are growing and many are going through very stressful situations trying to recap debt. 2) Home services are hungry. HVAC, plumbing, electrical in my area are slow and asking for work. 3) 5+ of my friends have gotten laid off in the last few months. A lot of talented folks too. 4) ECom getting crushed. Especially hunting, outdoor, etc. Consumer spending is way down. 5) Developers slowing way down so the entire trade sector is overstaffed. Great time to build or remodel. 6) My friend is a custom cabinet guy in Athens GA. For the first time in 20 years he's really hungry for work and doesn't have much on his schedule. 7) Recruiting is definitely slow compared to 2022 and even 2023. Businesses just not hiring / staffing their teams right now as a whole. Obviously certain industries are strong and businesses are still growing, as always, but not like 2022 where everyone was winning. What are you seeing out there?
