@KevinOConnor @msmeliss024 Did you saw the “offensive system” this Bulls team was playing? They all have been playing trash. There is 0 flow in the offense. He has been cutting and going into the middle to create some Space and Ball doesn’t move… of course he is frustrated, it was visible.

@SBN_Ricky I’m quite concerned on how they are using him and the minutes he is being given, he is one of the few that is cutting and moving without the ball but the offense has been horrendous and he is not getting touches. Then nobody playing defense and he is recovering and fouling late.

Essengue not even one of the first two guys off the bench. He’s the eighth man on the summer league team 😭

@KCJHoop 0-6 on FTs sounds bad but not awful…. Unfortunately is awful when you left 14pts on the board just ln Free Throws… this would have been a game if he would have made those…. Team was bad overall but needs to use this as a driving factor to improve on the line.

@gfclark89 Well… he is not showing much for us to say something different. I’m hoping he proves everybody wrong that wanted Carr instead of him but isn’t doing that at all.

@KCJHoop Everybody has had a rough offensive game so far. Not having a true Point Guard here is killing us. Caleb doing too much, people not rotating and switching to get open shots… this has been painful to watch overall. Specially Swain, he has struggle badly.

If Essengue cracks regular-season rotation, defense has to be his main focus. He does a lot of things defensively that don't show up in box score. His length can be an asset. Has had rough game offensively thus far.

@cbefred You obviously didn’t watch the game and didn’t even obtain corrxt information from the Boxscore… Matas only played 13 mins and he scored 6pts and 5 rebs while shooting perfect from the Field and Free Throw Line. I don’t really know what that coach was doing sitting key players

Rimas Kurtinaitis needs to unleash him & encourage more mid-range jump shots if he continues to struggle from 3.

FWIW I'd be surprised if three second rounds pick can dump Jarred Vanderbilt. Houston paid three 2nds to dump Dorian Finney-Smith and he only has one guaranteed year left. Vanderbilt has two and doesn't have the same "maybe last year was a fluke" upside.

@Ramina1690 Why not? We have a very good and exciting Young Nucleus to root for and a couple of Veterans to Guide them. Don’t understand how some of you guys want a Rebuild to go… you have to use the Cap Space somehow and what better way to get an All Star, veteran presence and Champ

@Abe_OGBullsFan @BullsConf We Actually indeed grabbed a Star… Powell has been a Star for the last two Seasons (Officially 1 but we know he was snubbed the previous season).

I got to say, I am very impressed with how BG used the cash. Powell and Collins being on a one year deal with team options for year 2 (and Claxton with two years left) leave the Bulls with a nice mix of young players and vets as well as financial and roster flexibility for the next two trade deadlines and off seasons, while still having our No. 1 picks. We didn't land a star and we didn't take back worthless salaries. Folks, this is good. Now lets see what we got in Wilson, Swain and Essengue!
