Have you ever read a book that made you cry? I’ve listened to songs that have made me cry. I’ve watched movies that have made me cry. But I’ve NEVER once read a book that made me cry. Name a book in the comments that brought you to tears.

Or if anyone knows of any private hospitals/ medical groups in the Essex area that would accept her as an outpatient please get in touch, if I can afford for her to go private I’d much rather that as it’s one less patient the already exhausted NHS won’t have to worry about . Thank u x

My mum has been home 4 days, tried to book her in private (because luckily I can afford that) for her arm and leg, won’t take her because surgery wasn’t done by them, since Friday have been waiting for the NHS hospital to come back to me, have been number 76 in the Queue since this morning finally get through to be told they haven’t received her referral (which they have) my mum is 71 and has other serious health issues. I know the NHS is on its knees at the minute but what on earth would she do without family around her. I’ve now been told there’s nothing else the gp surgery can do (who have been great) so here with my mum in 2 casts, she needs her stitches and staples removed this week, and then her physio can begin, at a loose end here, any advice from doctors/nurses on here would be great thanks x

@a_la_mode_Tee @lorrainemking 😂😂 honestly people are unhinged! I saw a post this morning some guy was walking around for 20 minutes at the end taking photos of full up bins before they were emptied so he could go online and complain about the mess 🤦🏼‍♀️ they just want a reason to be miserable!

@acgrayling @BBCLauraKT They have already removed the towing test, this is just for up to 7.5, you can already drive a 3.5 on a licence after 1997 and up to 7.5 on a licence before, a lot of motor homes and horse boxes are over 3.5 so that’s what you’ll see more of.

@xXSashaC @NJSimmondsbooks Damp muslin cloths over any exposed skin. Muslin between you and baby to stop them slithering. Freeze little toys in a tub of water and pop in a paddling pool or in a bucket to play with.

🗣 UK, ARE YOU FEELING HOT? Having lived in Spain and Australia, and brought up by Spanish family, I've learned a lot. Here is a thread on how to keep cool in this summer. My British mates often don't know these tips. Ignore if you already do... ☀️🧵

Good pregnancy apps, anyone? I find the ones I have very negative, it’s all “watch out for stretch marks!” & “you must be feeling like you can’t possibly be a mum!”. No and no – I want to know about what’s really happening with my body and baby, and tips for appointments, thanks!

@MartinSLewis They are only going because they can’t get away with filtering money into their own bank accounts anymore.. that’s the only reason they were there in the first place..

Wow! #Sunak and #Javid are gone - resigned from the cabinet. The expectation to say anythign to spin crisis after crisis to defend the Big Dog just too much. Surely this isn't the beginning of the end for Boris Johnson - its at least the middle of the end.

@PA_Daddoo @mullen_cass @tinalc1958 @Tony4WI @wavetop They would of counted from the first day of her last period… usually at the 12 week scan you get a more accurate measurement.. that’s why women are only given an estimated due date because they don’t actually know the exact time it would implant just a rough idea from cycles.

I’ve vetoed 9 bills that would have restricted access to abortion in Wisconsin. As long as I’m governor, I’ll defend the right to safe and accessible reproductive healthcare.

@PA_Daddoo @mullen_cass @tinalc1958 @Tony4WI @wavetop At 6 weeks pregnant you’re only 3/4ish weeks.. they count from the first day of your last period. Most people don’t ovulate until halfway through their cycle… at 10 years old that could be even more irregular, meaning the day you miss your period it’s already classed as 4 weeks

@mullen_cass @tinalc1958 @Tony4WI @wavetop Assuming they could pinpoint that date, they would know when she was raped. Which then raises the question of why was she not treated sooner than a month and a half after being raped? A lot of his story doesn't add up.

@danielgoyal I think a lot of the people coming in come through 111 because you cannot get a gp appointment anymore, calling at 8am 300 times to be told nothing left today for weeks on end, not being able to prebook appointments at all anymore so lots are just coming into hospitals instead.

The current state of the NHS looks and feels really bad. Really, really bad. The volume of genuinely unwell patients is just overwhelming. Staff are utterly exhausted and dispirited. There is some hope in Scotland and Wales, but...

@samueljmargrave @MartinSLewis Thank you, they didn’t make it entirely clear if the £650 was for people who got full UC or if it was people that worked and got it as well 🤷‍♀️

Thanks so much to the few attacking me as a 'sell out' after summarising that the Chancellor's package was more generous than expected. I've spent months shrieking, pleading, urging for more help, calling out the dangers. I've nowt to sell out, I just try and call it straight

@supertanskiii More to the point is why were they not scared? You know how they terrified us that we would die or we would kill someone if we went outside or mingled… why were they not worried about dying 🧐🤔

I don’t know who needs to hear this but please, try not to feel shame or guilt for doing the right thing during Coronavirus lockdowns. Don’t let entitled, empty, negligent scumbags make you feel bad for doing the right thing to save lives and help our wonderful NHS staff.
