Most business cycles of the past have ended shortly after the price of oil spiked. Rising geopolitical conflict threatens to cause that once again. If oil starts moving higher, it usually marks the beginning of the end of the business cycle.

hate to say it but I think you could just use Dec. 2021 as a proxy for today’s market crypto continues its’ relative weakness to stocks/commodities and I don’t see why that would suddenly change even worse, if those markets show even the slightest bit of weakness it’s suddenly risk-off across the board a sneeze in equities correlates to a nosedive in crypto bar some crazy unforeseeable bullish catalyst, it’s analogous to a gambler continuing to pull the lever on a slot machine because it ‘hasn’t paid in so long that it’s due for a jackpot’ I’ve been the loudest one on this app screaming “survive/do nothing” for the past few months and that continues to be the most rewarding approach better days eventually.
