I literally can't win with pronouns on Boot dev, it's insane. We have people cancel over NOT using "they" in lesson text and people cancelling over us USING "they".
> In one of your lessons you refer to a single person named "Logan" using the third person plural pronoun.
>
> At this point without assurances that the developers intend to correct the course material to correctly use the grammatically correct generic masculine as the correct generic pronoun, I have no interest in financially supporting the intentional cultural vandalism of my personal linguistic heritage
Here's your refund, you won't be missed.
I DON'T CARE about this. I don't care. WHY DO PEOPLE CARE. These are not real people in the lesson text. They're genderless EXAMPLES. Sometimes we say he/she, sometimes we say they, it depends on context and which maintainer happened to update it last.
wwhwhhwyyyyy dooooo weee careeee sooo much. get a life.

Everybody's asking me: "When's the next VIX spike, Alex?"
I called Spike 1. I've been pointing at Spike 2 for weeks.
But here's the truth — don't wait for the ice cream van that doesn't turn up.
Probability is high. Certainty is not.
Buy when VIX is high. Risk transfer when it's low. Don't sit waiting.

April 6 could be the most consequential trading day of 2026.
Two events. Same day. The calendar is converging and nobody's prepared.
Here's the timeline.
April 1 — Consumer confidence. Nike earnings. First real data on whether people are still spending or hoarding cash.
A taxi driver in Paris told me tonight that people are travelling less because of gas prices. That's anecdotal. April 1 gives us the numbers.
April 3, Good Friday — March payrolls at 8:30 AM. Markets closed. The data sits there for 72 hours. No reaction possible.
Last print: -92,000 jobs.
If it misses again — that number marinates in everyone's head all weekend. No way to trade it. No way to hedge it. Just sitting there.
April 6, Monday morning — Markets open 9:30 AM.
Sell orders stacked. Futures already moving on the payroll number that's been fermenting for three days.
April 6, 8:00 PM ET — Trump's Iran energy infrastructure deadline expires.
The pause on strikes. Extended twice already. If it passes without a deal — oil to $120+. VIX retests 35.
Picture it.
Bad payroll Friday. Markets can't react. Everyone stews Saturday and Sunday. Monday morning — liquidation. Monday night — deadline passes. Oil spikes.
One-two punch with the market already on the floor.
Or — payrolls beat. Diplomacy makes progress. Markets rally hard into April.
That's why this isn't just another week. It's the convergence.
The 10-year yield is 16 basis points from the 4.5-4.6% Kobeissi threshold — the level where Trump had to reverse course on tariffs last year. If bond selling pushes through that level, it changes everything.
We're at 10% correction on the S&P. Death cross confirmed on the Nasdaq.
Can it go lower than 22,000? Can it revisit Liberation Day levels?
April 6. Mark it.

@TheAnfieldWrap I did this would be an issue before the season started. I know of people who have changed their lives due to the passing of a friend. In this tragic case I would not be surprised if a light / spark has gone out.

"It's not just when they're on the pitch, it's every single second of their waking day they are dealing with the loss of their mate."
"People are calling for Slot's head because 'last season he only won it with Klopp's side.' Well, Klopp didn't win it with Klopp's side the season before...we know he changed things cause we talked all season about what he'd changed...he is managing a team of people through unprecedented loss."
