@Deadlykalesh Fortuner to a greater extent. The road has continuous traffic, wait for pickup would be too long. The Fortuner just needed to slow down a little bit and aim to cross behind the pickup, but he kept turning left to cross ahead of the pickup without slowing.

@RajneetiTadka Most people don't realise their vehicles extend behind their backsides. Why two wheelers? Even car drivers try to squeeze in as if there is no car around them.

One lane change. No shoulder check. Dashcam footage shows a woman on a scooter abruptly cutting across from the far left lane to the right → straight into the blind spot of a car already travelling there. The impact happened before either driver could react. She went down. This is the blind spot every rider and driver forgets exists: it's not that the other vehicle "came out of nowhere." It's that nobody checked before moving. Signal. Shoulder check. Every lane change, no exceptions. 🛵⚠️

@dishasatra That would be political suicide. They will manage to pass the bill, but will face a no confidence motion within days and lose. When there are elections again, they will lose (and be out of power for 20 years at least). And the decision will get reversed. End of story.

A few days ago a photo of a small stretch of a 6 lane highway in Goa was shared. Only one car could be seen in the photo and it was straddling lanes.

Some people who joined CJP protest: 1) Arundhati Roy, who believes that Kashmir is not a part of India. 2) Colin Gonsalves, who filed a mercy petition for 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab. 3) Prashant Bhushan, who approached Supreme Court at midnight to stop the hanging of terrorist Yakub Memon. 4) Nandita Narain, who sang "Bas naam rahega Allah ka" from CJP stage, a poem by Pakistani poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz. 5) Kunal Kamra, who said from CJP stage - "Yeh log Sita ke Pati ka naam lekar, Nita ke Pati ka kaam kar rahe hain" (They chant the name of Sita's husband, but they serve Nita's husband). At what point does this even look like a protest against the NEET paper leak? If the objective was truly to seek justice for NEET students, the stage should have been given to the students who were affected by the paper leak, or to the parents whose children lost their lives due to the paper leak. Instead, the platform was given to the Islamo-left ecosystem. It clearly shows the CJP protest organizers' priorities and the real agenda behind the protest. Sonam Wangchuk should also take a closer look at what is happening around him. He has been reduced to a pawn while others are using his credibility and public image to lend legitimacy to the movement. A few days ago, Sonam Wangchuk himself remarked from the CJP stage that others were eating at the protest while he was on a hunger strike. He openly expressed disappointment and said - "If you cannot join me in an indefinite hunger strike, at least observe a one-day hunger strike, or skip one meal in solidarity." How many CJP protest organizers acted on his appeal? He should analyze whether his struggle is being used to advance a broader political or ideological agenda rather than the cause that people believe he is representing, because the CJP protest appears to have become a platform for everything except the NEET paper leak.

The biggest cultural shock for many Indians visiting developed countries is not the infrastructure, not the clean air, not the lack of chaos. It is the amount of invisible trust. Leaving expensive items unattended, paying without someone watching, following rules when no authority is present, trusting that the price being quoted is not a complete rip off. A high trust society is basically a technology humans built before computers. Unfortunately it is something that is yet to be developed in India.

Then, almost overnight, like last month, it seems to have suddenly rediscovered its Indic roots, helped along in no small measure by enthusiastic foreign cheerleaders such as yourself, and @AusHCPak As someone who actually belongs to that civilisation, my well meaning advice to you would be to focus on preserving British culture and heritage instead. Your Pakistani diaspora appears to be proving far more effective at diluting the traditions of its adopted home than Pakistan ever was at preserving the civilisation from which it emerged.
