Please help us bring attention to this. Overwatch’s ban and appeal system needs more transparency, not just for me, but for every player who could lose years of time, money, progress, and memories without receiving a clear explanation. My Overwatch account was permanently banned after a match was cancelled mid-game. My friend saw a “cheating detected” message, but the email I received referred generally to policies/conduct without clearly explaining the exact reason. I have never used cheats, did not throw or troll, and had voice/text chat disabled for weeks to avoid toxic interactions. I appealed twice, but the responses were still vague. How are players supposed to defend themselves without knowing exactly what they are accused of?
