I was saving this for tomorrow's radio show/podcast, but, no chance I can sleep if I dont get this out. You've seen what's happening on the streets of Gaza? You've seen the murders? The public killings? Innocent Gazans "made an example of" by Hamas? Who rules Gaza for now? Well, it's Hamas. Maybe that changes. MAYBE. But....I would ask... All you "activists", all you "moral crusaders", maybe someone from Ontario's NDP, or the federal NDP, or many federal Liberals - pick up what I'm putting down here: WHERE are you now? Thought you were the "voices of the oppressed"? Anything for the Gazans being slaughtered for 3 straight days in broad daylight even after they've returned home to reset their lives? This doesn't even INVOLVE Israel. This is a 2-foot putt for you. But you HAVE missed a few of those the last 2+ years, no question. Your so-called "freedom fighters" are murdering Gazans. They promise more killings tomorrow (in a few hours/their time zone). The world paid a lot less attention this in 2005 when Israel pulled out of Gaza voluntarily, andn left Hamas to govern. Did the people get their freedom? Nope - they got the most oppression imaginable. Terrorists not only roaming the streets, but CONTROLLING them. So, again, you virtue signallers.....I'm here asking the questions you won't. Pointing out things you're too cowardly to. Where's the outrage? Where's the condemnation? You live for doing that. Problem here? The victims are Gazans - the killers are Hamas. It puts you in such a pickle, doesn't it? I have plenty of time to critique Israel & all its enemies in the Middle East for the last eight decades. There's been too many lines crossed, too much bloodshed, too much horror......but all the humans rights activists & "moral voices" - you should be shouting about this, but you're hiding under your bedsheets. We knew this was who you were - thanks for reasserting it. euronews.com/2025/10/13/ham…

@NoaMagid @EmmanuelMacron Macron expressing ‘happiness’ that the hostages were freed, which happened immediately after Israel went into Gaza city, & Trump ramped up the pressure…while Macron tried to prevent those actions, is some nerve. There ought to be an ‘evil’ version of the word ‘Chutzpah’. 🤨

I share the joy of the families and of the Israeli people as seven hostages have just been handed over to the Red Cross. My team and I had recently met their parents. Eitan Mor, Gali and Ziv Berman, Matan Angrest, Omri Miran, Alon Ahel and Guy Gilboa-Dalal are safe. Soon, they will be free. With their release — and that of the thirteen other hostages expected this morning — peace becomes possible for Israel, for Gaza, and for the region. France will be involved in every stage of President Trump’s plan, alongside the Arab partners it helped mobilize. But for now, let there be joy.

@HenMazzig Many also only hate Israel. They never hate anyone else for doing the things they falsely attributed to Israel - as soon as it turns out it was someone else, they ignore that ‘outrage’ & instead look for something new to hate Israel for.

HYPOCRISY: The official Flotilla account — the boat funded by Hamas that carried Greta and other Instagram activists — accused Israel of trying to kill children. When someone pointed out that the footage was actually from Yemen, where children are killed by their allies, the Houthis, they quickly deleted the post, and suddenly forgot about the poor Yemeni children. That’s their ritual: hate Israel first, facts later.

Many like to post pre-1948 maps of “Palestine” thinking it’s some kind of “own” that it was always “Palestine.” It’s ignorable for obvious historical reasons, but enjoy this 1839 map calling the land (then part of the Ottoman Empire) “Judea” with “Palestine” nowhere to be found. - This map was published in 1839 as part of “The Ancient History of the Egyptians, Carthaginians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Medes and Persians, Macedonians and Grecians.”

“Hamas was just about to agree to a deal” Yeah - cos SEVEN HUNDRED FUCKING DAYS wasn’t enough for them to release the hostages But this time they were totally about to do a deal! They would have released them on day one but bureaucracy, (you know how it is!), meant they held onto them for SEVEN HUNDRED FUCKING DAYS But tomorrow was going to be totally different! They would have released them if it wasn’t for Israel!

@VividProwess Letting them in Gaza carries real risk. Hamas will let them parade themselves around Gaza pretending to help, then ‘arrange’ for them to be killed, with world headlines saying ‘Hamas ministry of Health confirms Greta Thurnberg killed in Israeli attack’. It’s just not worth it.

Greta Thunberg's crew explains their plan to get to Gaza. What should Israel do, in your opinion? 1. Let them into Gaza to find out. 2. Arrest them all.

@OurielOhayon @EFischberger Hamas will launch attack from nearby journalists in hopes of journalist being killed in counter strike. Israel alone will be blamed, & it will receive even more media attention than anything yet. Seems likely better to be wrongly blamed of current issues, than those.

@HonestRepCanada Sure looks like ‘Palestine’ is planning to occupy the Golan Heights, claimed by Syria (after they lost it attacking Israel). 🤨 I guess it’s okay for Palestinians to occupy territory claimed by an Arab country…?? 🙄

Credit to the Durham District School Board for banning a sweatshirt whose custom-designed logo made by the Muslim Student Association at Pine Ridge Secondary School eliminated Israel & replaced it with “Palestine”. Hate has no place in our schools. Link: globalnews.ca/video/11228419…

@alicemodigliani @TheMossadIL Strikes me this also demonstrates how clueless they are about their own risk & danger. They have a perversely idealized vision of Hamas treating them well, but risking death (which the IDF may have saved them from), & an irrational fear of the IDF, while ‘risking’ getting lunch.

The Mossad: Satirical and Awesome
In 2004 during the height of the second intifada, Hussam Abdo, a 14 year old, socially awkward boy, never popular with friends, and described as "mentally challenged" was given 100 shekels and promised 72 virgins in paradise by Fatah's Al-aqsa Martyr's Brigades to approach Israeli officers with a vest with 8 kg of explosives where he was told to blow up as many Jews as he could. He was arrested, and the bomb was safely detonated. I'm only bringing up this story because Greta is the new Hussam. Whoever sent her expected her to be a martyr.

Unpopular opinion that everyone's gonna hate: I don't like Greta or what she's doing - I think it's performative activism; and, I think the ship should be allowed to dock in Gaza and given permission to stay there for a day or two. This achieves the best of multiple worlds.

@Saul_Sadka 6. Israel well may have (inadvertently) paid Hamas members posing as informants large amounts of money to get the locations of hostages Hamas actually wanted Israel to know about so that Israel wouldn’t attack those strategic sites.

There are emerging hints regarding Hamas’ hostage operation and why it was so difficult to crack: 1. Hostages were kept in groups to simplify logistics. 2. Agam Berger was with the other four female soldiers but was recently separated, presumably to serve as collateral in case of a rescue attempt. 3. The IDF has avoided entering certain key locations for over a year. From this, we can infer: 1. The IDF knew where many—perhaps most—of the hostages were, and likely had precise information on which hostages were in which locations. 2. Hamas knew the IDF had this knowledge and may even have been openly using specific hostages as human shields to protect strategic sites. 3. The hostages were guarded so tightly that they could have been executed within seconds, making any rescue attempt impossible. 4. There were multiple concentric circles of guards for each group of hostages. 5. The bounties offered for information were probably at least partially paid out, allowing the IDF to pinpoint hostages’ locations and identify who was holding them. However, the distributed nature of the holding system meant that no individual guard could to enough to allow a safe extraction. Lots of lessons to learn...

How depraved and evil can Hamas be? Is anyone asking which are hostages they are refusing to release? The babies? The women sexually assaulted? The elderly? Where is the outrage? Where are the so-called human rights champions? Where is the Gaza Ceasefire Now crew?
