The Catholic Church is older than the Bible you use. The Catholic Church gave the world the Bible. The Catholic Church wrote the Bible by hand and preserved it for centuries. The Catholic Church is the reason why we have a Bible to begin with. The Catholic Church is why we have a church. The Catholic Church holds the truth to Christianity. The Catholic Church is why you are a Christian to begin with. The Catholic Church was instituted by Christ Himself.

This is a false statement. Neither Luke or Mark were eye witnesses. Protestants spread this lie to remove the need for a church in validating the Bible

@BishopJaxi The Catholic church teaches that Gods saving work through Jesus is outside of time. So no... it didn't begin with "an event" in time. Old testament believers were still saved.

Meanwhile, Jesus Himself: “And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY CHURCH…” JESUS gets to define what His Church is. Not Evangelicals, desperate to redefine “church” into whatever suits them.
