Lift one foot. 3. Put on a sock, then a shoe, tie it. Foot never touches the ground. 4. Switch sides. Do the same thing. As you age, balance becomes the canary in the coal mine. The good news is you can improve it at any age. - Don't be excessively fat - Build lower body strength using single leg exercises - Walk heel to toe across the kitchen - Stand on one foot while brushing your teeth - Get off the couch without using your hands - Lift weights 3x a week. Alcohol is the worse drug on the planet. I wish it never existed. We live in a generation of functioning alcoholics. Drinking multiple times a week. It’s sad. Alcohol literally makes you ugly.. I drank alcohol last weekend for the first time in 2months and i looked ugly for 3days after that. I felt ugly too btw.

Ik blijf het zonde vinden dat het Songfestival gebruikt is door Avrotros om zich te profileren. In gepolariseerde tijden is het goed om iets te hebben wat ons samenbrengt. Dat is dit jaar in ieder geval niet het Songfestival.

Inmiddels weten we via mr. Bart Swier dat Ali B. zijn straf niet accepteert en in cassatie zal gaan. De zaak zal dan niet inhoudelijk over worden gedaan. De Hoge Raad oordeelt slechts over of de lagere rechter (het Hof in dit geval) de wet goed heeft toegepast.

So Iran has now expanded the "Strait of Hormuz" zone beyond Fujairah - the UAE's pipeline exit that was supposed to bypass Iranian control. The UAE built that pipeline specifically to avoid Iranian choke points. Now Iran just... moved the choke point. The US tried to "secure global energy routes." Now Iran controls more of them. The UAE's backup plan is now inside the danger zone. And American warships are getting hit while the administration denies it.

For those replying it’s because it’s cheaper to higher young people - think why this doesn’t work the same way in poorer countries, where they usually have high youth unemployment instead? If lower wages were the only factor driving this you’d see *even more* of this in less developed economies, but in fact the opposite is the case. It has to be because in stronger economies there is simply less competition for these jobs, and it’s much easier (besides simply cheaper) for employers to fill them with young people.

One thing you see in the Netherlands that you don’t see in other countries is very young people working everywhere. Sometimes you come across entire restaurants or supermarkets managed only by high-schoolers, with not a single adult in the room. Seems to be a sign of a strong economy. You don’t really see this in poorer countries, even in nearby Germany, where you’re more likely to see older people working in restaurants or stocking shelves full time professionally.
