@benjitaylor @xai hi Benji) Could you please check your DMs? I have a question about skills for designers) Or I can just ask here if that’s easier
English

We’re building the design dream team at 𝕏 and @xAI, and I’m actively hiring.
You’ll work on products at incredible scale, with people who care deeply about craft, speed, usability, and impact. You’ll be pushed hard, learn a ton, and do the best work of your career.
If that excites you, my DMs are open.

@benjitaylor Hi Benji) could you please share what you look for when hiring designers for your team? What should a portfolio include, and what skills should a designer have?
English

@benjitaylor @elonmusk @nikitabier it's amaizing) I'm really happy for you, you did a great work. Good luck!

I’m honoured to be joining 𝕏 to lead design. I believe this is the most important platform in the world, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to help shape the future.
I’m looking forward to working closely with @elonmusk, @nikitabier, and the rest of the team. I’m grateful for the opportunity, humbled to be part of it, and can't wait to get started!

@jakubkrehel I just found your posts, and I'm thrilled. Please tell me when you use IDE and when you switch to CLI tools. Can you give some examples of tasks?

@benjitaylor hi Benji) The animations in Family and Honk are simply amazing. Could you please share how I can improve my microanimations and transitions skills?

I finally named my first solo iOS app: Biscuit Camera 🍪
This started as a winter break experiment, focused on shooting into a fixed frame, and kept growing in ways I didn’t plan for.
Designed in Figma, built with Cursor + Figma MCP.
TestFlight available via the link. testflight.apple.com/join/swJ2hKcE
Never thought naming would be this challenging!

Imagine the battery usage chart on iOS appearing as chemical tube filled with bubbling liquid.

@darianevezhyna @codrops Daria, great thoughts thanks for sharing! I have basic Rive skills; could you tell me what to study to get better at Rive, especially with State Machines?

I wrote an article for @codrops (link below) about the idea and vision behind my project with Interactive Configurators.
It’s about the meaning behind choosing and buying, because it’s often not just about the product.
It’s a ritual, a process where we feel emotions, connect with our choice, and with the brand itself.
When we use configurators, we dedicate time and attention. And that’s exactly where digital experiences should feel more human, emotional, and rewarding, like being in a showroom with real care and quality service.
Bringing that showroom feeling into digital touches the whole experience — how it works, how it looks, and how it feels. It turns customization into something emotional, creative, and personal.

@jonrundle hi, Jon! You have an awesome workspace 😊
I was surprised to see that Origami is still being used when there are so many other tools available. Could you please share why you choose Origami specifically?

Today’s my last day at @rive_app
It’s been almost two years, and what a ride it’s been. I’ve worked on around 250 UIs and demos, made over 50 videos, created music scores for social content, helped shape the branding for Rive 101, and explored all kinds of UI: AI, automotive, music, games, watchfaces, TV… you name it.
I’ve learned so much, had a ton of fun, and got to be part of something really special.
Now, it feels like the right time to move on and switch focus from demos to products.
That said, I’m not going anywhere; I’ll still be around as a Rive Ambassador and Expert, staying in touch with the awesome community and team. I love production-ready design, craft and handshake approach, so, you can expect even more Rive on your devices!

@novikoff Hey Dima 🙂 Could you please help me? I’m still working on testing prototypes from Rive. For example, I’ve created a mobile app screen—next, I need to use state machines to define the behavior for button taps and transitions, right?
English

@yan_kenikh Huge difference is in Rive you build a ready-to-use UI instead of prototypes. It's finished already.
A good examples are Duolingo, Zerocam
English

@novikoff I guess I haven’t fully grasped the power of Rive yet :)
I’ve been using it for animations and microinteractions,
but I haven’t really tried implementing full screen transitions or integrating everything into an app yet.
definitely need more practice with state machines and data
