@GiantHotTakes I'd take a 15-5 over 20 game span
Unfortunately, you need decent pitching and hot bats to do that and we're lucky to have one OR the other at any given time
@Kyle_0429@GiantHotTakes The way the bats were going with 2 outs you gotta send him. I get Arreaz has been our most consistent hitter this year but he's got a 30% chance for a hit at best.
If Betts was the relay guy, then it's likely a different result but good send on an aging Rojas arm
@latesideofgood@GiantHotTakes Nah, I too understand that there's ups and downs over 162 gave season.
Yeah, he's been rough lately but he'll get hot for a couple months during the summer and finish (albeit a bit under) his career averages
Just what you want after a lengthy inning, for the offense to get say down on 9 pitches.
Can't y'all give Roupp some time to rest?

ABS confirmed in #Pirates at #Giants (Top 2).
Marcell Ozuna challenged the called strike.
Called strike confirmed.
HP: Jacob Metz | Upheld 34.6% (9/26).
Later: Marcell Ozuna doubles on a fly ball to center fielder Drew Gilbert.
@_jayskiii4@TheDunkCentral Nor necessarily a fan of Bron but respect the hell out of his game. To me, he gets a pretty bad whistle as well, especially in the back half of his career.
Draymond Green believes Stephen Curry gets a worse whistle from referees than LeBron James
“JJ Redick says LeBron has the worst whistle of any star player he’s ever seen. Has he ever watched Steph Curry play? Is Steph Curry considered a star player? Got nothing but love for Bron, but if Steph Curry is a star player — which I think he is — no one gets a worse whistle than Steph Curry.”

@toneyedomobi@JeffPassan@SportsCenter I do think this is a nice win-win trade for both teams. Bailey needed a new scene and is incredibly defensively.
Giants needed to open up AB's for their 2 young catching prospects, who both have been solid with the lumber
@JeffPassan@SportsCenter Guardians really said “enough of watching passed balls” and went out to get one of the best defensive catchers in baseball.
Patrick Bailey + that pitching staff is gonna be FILTHY. 😊
BREAKING: The Cleveland Guardians are acquiring two-time Gold Glove-winning catcher Patrick Bailey in a trade with the San Francisco Giants for the No. 29 pick in this year's draft and left-handed pitching prospect Matt "Tugboat" Wilkinson, sources tell ESPN.
@WolvesXWrld@T_Washingbeard@VicLombardi Not as of this year, thanks to.Dillon Brooks.
They actually changed the rule in the off-season because Dillon Brooks kept hitting shooters hands without making an attempt on the ball. It was called very subjectively this year
@T_Washingbeard@VicLombardi Which is also not supposed to be called a foul. If he hit the wrist or forearm yes, the hand, no because it's considered an extension of the ball
The scissor kick jumper followed by the immediate dive must be addressed. Every team has a player who does it. I see youth players now doing it. It’s so difficult to distinguish in real time. It’s a WWE move and it must be extinguished from the game.
Matt Chapman last 13 games
5-46 (.109), 2 2B, 19 SO
The “leader” of the clubhouse has completely vanished. The “core” of veterans bears 99% of the blame. They should be ashamed. Play the kids! They care!
Didn't think about it but that was a great time to punch hit Arreaz and slid Schmitt to 3B. No reason to let Chapman flounder in a high leverage AB

@bmorotti22@timkawakami They put together a playoff team in their inaugural year, picking up players that fit with Nakase's culture.
There's been missteps for sure but Giants going on 10 years of futility with only one random we believe season ('21)
@BPonbase@JomboyMedia I don't know if it needs to be an established rule but I agree, dropping the ball because you're too busy trying to frame a pitch rather than catch it deserves to be a ball.
Dropping a ball because you got crossed up shouldn't be an automatic no challenge by catchers gotta catch
The Giants have now played 32 games.
They have won 13 of them.
They have scored 2 or 1 run(s) 8 times.
They have been shut out 7 times.
They are terrible.
