🚨Iran Warns Trump Against Any U.S. Military Action in the Strait of Hormuz In response to President Trump’s announcement the US plans to “guide” merchant ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, in an operation CENTCOM says will involve guided-missile destroyers and 15,000 service members, a senior Iranian official told @DropSiteNews that Iran’s leadership rejects any attempt to alter “current conditions” in the Strait and will respond forcefully. Trump’s action “is primarily intended to provoke Iran into taking an initial step toward confrontation, thereby creating a pretext for escalation and enabling him to justify further military action in response to an Iranian initiative,” the Iranian official said. “Our definitive position is that any commercial vessel attempting to transit through designated restricted routes without prior coordination will be promptly intercepted by Iranian forces. Should U.S. military vessels respond, such actions would be met with an immediate and corresponding response from Iran.” "The U.S. military vessels are far from the corridor area. If commercial vessels attempt to move, they would be engaged well before reaching any American ships," the official added. "Trump has effectively turned them into bargaining tools in his political game."

This is shocking: the House Rules Committee just blocked a vote on stripping the Save Our Bacon Act from the farm bill. The SOB Act, buried deep in the farm bill, would wipe out state bans on pork from crated pigs, condemning millions to a lifetime in gestation crates. We were getting very close to having the votes to pass Rep. Luna’s bipartisan amendment to strip the SOB Act from the bill on the floor of the House. Then pork industry lobbyists got to work. Behind closed doors, they got Rules Committee leadership to stop a vote entirely and protect the SOB Act from the scrutiny it can’t survive. The only option now is to kill the whole rotten farm bill. From: Iran is begging for negotiations so I'm sending Jared and Witkoff to: We're not sending anyone because we have all the cards. All within 24 hours. Iran kept saying they won't negotiate with Jared Kushner (who they correctly see as an agent of Israel) or with Witkoff (who they think is dumb). They want someone on Vance's level. And they kept saying they won't negotiate under a US blockade. But a huge group of people believe anything Trump says, even if he says the exact opposite the day before or they after. Hence: Iran is on its knees begging for a deal and will give us everything we want: as we've been hearing for two months now.
