The time has come. We’re excited to announce Surf V2 public testnet is launching this Thursday, March 12th. V2 launches with dynamic interest rates, partial loan repayments, enhanced position management, multi-collateral pools, and time-based lender rewards. V1 reached a TVL of 15M ADA. Team is hitting on all cylinders right now. 1. Looking into making V1 faster. With a few improvements dapp should become lightning fast with quick settlements 2. We’re internally testing V2 and expect to announce an official date in the next couple of days 3. We should have a solution to SURF staking by next epoch. It will cause a delay in rewards for one period, but after that the system wont be able to be gamed 4. Midnight lending dapp. We’ve started making progress on our privacy dapp and we expect to have a detailed update by the end of the month. We pushed a new update that could help take our protocol to the next level: now displaying historical APY 🏄‍♂️ SNEK pool alone has historically paid out almost 8% 🔥 That’s 8k ADA for everyone 100k ADA supplied with no signs of slowing down. Typically we’ve shown the base APY (supply APY) but we now also display the historical returns which accounts for opening fees and liquidations. Some pools have paid as much as 20% APY 👀 Good things happen when you surf the waves.
