I’m still in shock by this. A 2025 study from the UN migration office says, “By 2043 there will be more Eritrean living in Ethiopia than in Eritrea itself”. 🤔

Our founding fathers in 1978 the 13 member EPLF committee. Led one of the longest revolution defeated one of the largest military in Africa &brought a country from rubble. Regardless of how things turned out b/n them, we are always grateful for giving us a country we call home

No country can negotiate with Eritrea because it has little to offer. In a transactional world, economically isolated nations crumble. 

If the unjust US sanctions against Eritrea are lifted, it won't be because of the useless Sub-Saharan African countries. It will be because of our Middle East allies like Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Merhaba to our true allies and fuck Ethiopia.

I’m still mad at Isaias for even allowing Ethiopia to use Assab free of charge from 1991 to 1997. In the future, I suggest we charge Ethiopia 🇪🇹 4x times higher than any other country for 39 years (Reparations for the illegal occupation from 1952-91)

Why is 🇪🇷 not on the below list? It is the most critical natural resource Eritrea possess. FACT 💯: In 1969, Mobil experienced a significant gas blowout at the C-1 exploration well in the Eritrean Red Sea. The well, located offshore, flowed uncontrollably for 55 to 60 days. IMPACT 💥: The incident was a major event in early Eritrean offshore exploration, proving the presence of hydrocarbons, specifically gas. CONTEXT 🎯: The C-1 blowout, along with other findings, identified a large salt basin with potential for both oil and gas in the area.

Breaking : The U.S. seeks to reset ties with Eritrea to combat Houthi rebels. Aside from Egypt 🇪🇬, Eritrea has the second-strongest navy in East Africa, with a heavily guarded, untouched, and not spoiled coastline. 🔥 🔥 #Assab . Somone check on PPs😂

Good news… The Trump administration is considering lifting U.S. sanctions on Eritrea as part of efforts to reset diplomatic relations! It is worth recalling what Hillary Clinton once said about Eritrea, according to U.S. diplomatic cables published by WikiLeaks: Eritrea is a bad example of good governance.! What she meant reflects a broader Western concern about Eritrea’s model of self-reliance, especially after it rejected foreign aid and NGOs such as USAID in the mid-2000s. It was seen as a bad example for Africa, as other countries might follow the same path and move away from dependence on external assistance. With the current administration shifting its approach to humanitarian aid in Africa and closing down USAID, it seems the time has come to reconsider and lift these sanctions.
