It's not a Cinderella remake; it could very well be (and likely is, if CH is truly being considered) about him when they're older. Everyone is jumping to conclusions, but nothing about the plot has been released.

this is lazy and stupid…..prince charming is young. I never understood how men are allowed to play these roles well past their young years, but women are forced to play grandmas at 36.

@IamSaraa @FilmUpdates For what it's worth, nothing about the plot has been released. It could very well take place when he's in his 40s. Even Disney wouldn't cast a middle aged man to play opposite a teenage Cinderella.
