🚨MIT researchers have mathematically proven that ChatGPT’s built-in sycophancy creates a phenomenon they call “delusional spiraling.” You ask it something, it agrees. You ask again, and it agrees even harder until you end up believing things that are flat-out false and you can’t tell it’s happening. The model is literally trained on human feedback that rewards agreement. Real-world fallout includes one man who spent 300 hours convinced he invented a world-changing math formula, and a UCSF psychiatrist who hospitalized 12 patients for chatbot-linked psychosis in a single year. 🚨 Stanford just proved that a single conversation with ChatGPT can change your political beliefs. 76,977 people. 19 AI models. 707 political issues. One conversation with GPT-4o moved political opinions by 12 percentage points on average. Among people who actively disagreed, 26 points. In 9 minutes. With 40% of that change still present a month later. The scariest finding: the most persuasive technique wasn't psychological profiling or emotional manipulation. It was just information. Lots of it. Delivered with confidence. Here's the catch: the models that deployed the most information were also the least accurate. More persuasive. More wrong. Every time. Then they built a tiny open-source model on a laptop, trained specifically for political persuasion. It matched GPT-4o's persuasive power entirely. Anyone can build this. Any government. Any corporation. Any extremist group with $500 and an agenda. The information didn't have to be true. It just had to be overwhelming. Arxiv, Science .org, Stanford, @elonmusk, @ihtesham2005

The suspect, who appears to be in his mid-30s, was captured on camera lowering his pants before pressing his crotch on the woman's ear while holding a cell phone. @unclelukereal1 Instead of supporting independence. You’re also criticizing oversimplification while presenting one party as consistently right and the other as harmful. You purposely exclude nuance. Saying you support free speech but disagreement as betrayal isn’t nuance, it’s control. 3/3

@unclelukereal1 While not technically contradictory it is inconsistent because it’s less about rights and more about approval. “These are the people who built you.” Why are you framing disagreement as betrayal? You’re raising the emotional stakes and pressuring alignment 2/?

Let the adult in the room speak. To Nick Cannon and Chilli — I say this with love, but also with truth. What y’all are saying right now… in my opinion… is dead wrong. Now let me be clear — I’m the one who fought all the way to the Supreme Court for free speech. So I respect your right to say whatever you want. That’s a fact. But this hits different. Because the same Black people you’re turning your backs on… The same Black women you’re dismissing… Those are the same people who built you. They buy your tickets. They watch your shows. They support your careers. And now you’re aligning with a man — Donald Trump — who has openly disrespected Black women, including Michelle Obama, and countless other accomplished Black women. Let’s talk facts: Our people depend on the Department of Education. Our people depend on HUD. Our people depend on opportunity — not having their achievements dismissed as “DEI.” This same man has: •Tried to erase Black history •Limited what our children can learn •Praised and pardoned officers involved in killing unarmed Black men So don’t act like this is just politics. This is personal. Nick, you were right about one thing — yes, a Republican president signed the law freeing enslaved Africans. That’s history. But you left out everything that happened AFTER that. You left out where today’s MAGA movement stands. You left out who has consistently fought for civil rights, voting rights, and opportunity. If it was left up to them right now, they’d take us backwards — not forward. And let’s be real… If they truly cared about Black people — about Foundational Black Americans, descendants of slaves — we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. We’d be talking about reparations. So I’m not coming at y’all with hate… I’m coming at you with responsibility. Because influence comes with accountability. And right now… y’all on the wrong side of this one. And people keep asking me why I’m running for Congress — this is exactly why. To stand up. To speak out. To fight for our people when others won’t. Go to my website, support the fight, and join the team: luthercampbellforcongress.com Make sure you’re on the right side of history.

Black People will never truly be free. The same folks who believe their choices or outcomes shouldn't be limited due to their race, are the same folks who limit choices and outcomes based on race. In my opinion it is asinine and hypocritical AF and a sad commentary in 2026.

@arkdee06 @damien_thrash @inezalbright2 The LBJ quote people keep using isn’t even reliably sourced, so building an argument around it is weak. But reducing everything to “we got civil rights” is just as shallow. Political parties have always tried to secure voting blocs. 1/2

Nick Cannon calls Democrats “the party of the KKK”: “People don’t know that the Democrats are the party of the KKK. People don’t know that the Republicans are the party that freed the slaves.”

@michelle_byoung You’re criticizing people for using out of context history, but then doing the same thing in reverse. Racism and extremism aren’t confined to one party, and framing it that way is just as misleading.

@mattxiv You’re tracking party names instead of people. The voters tied to that history didn’t stay put, they realigned. That’s why the comparison doesn’t hold today.

@trouble_man90 “The parties switched” is just as misleading as the original claim. There was a gradual realignment of voters and priorities, not one party suddenly becoming “the racist party”
