Backstory: The inspo came from the @535TORONTO community fund experiment. Watching small grants go to builders like @hudzah and @tommytrxnh showed what's possible. I kept it going, backing @adennurie_. Then teamed up with @danielnieto_ and @maanavsunman. Together we backed @chloe_h_nguyen, @bskdany + more. (you should follow all of these cool people, will share more of their stories soon) Now we're formalizing it. United Builders scales belief capital...starting in Canada and North America, with global ambitions

I started my first company in school with $500. It was called Sneakerplay, a social network for sneakerheads. That was a long time ago but it taught me something I still believe: you don’t need a lot money to start. That’s why I loved launching the 535 Community Fund—a micro-grants experiment to back inspiring projects with $100–$500+. Imagine a version of this that covers the cost of AI coding tools for young builders. If that excites you, DM me. I’d love to learn more and see if I can help.
