I was one of the people disagreeing online. I’m a nobody. I was not paid. I was not part of an op. I’m just a normal conservative American who thinks granting legitimacy and cash to a terrorist death cult sworn to kill us is a bad idea.
In fact, the majority of American conservatives think this. We thought it when Obama did it, and we think it now.
Vance’s dismissal of honest disagreement from his core constituency of Christian conservatives as a “foreign op” is extremely insulting.

The U.S. House will vote this week on whether or not to make daylight saving time permanent. Essentially, we would not change the clocks again (no "falling back"). As I've mentioned over the years, below are 3 options and how they would look in Indianapolis, IN: current system, year-round daylight saving time & year-round standard time. Year-round daylight saving time would result in a 9:02 AM sunrise and 6:23 PM sunset on the winter solstice.

Permanent standard time, not daylight savings time.
That is the solution!
This is going to mean far darker, colder commutes in the winter, with the Sun not rising until 8:30 or 9:00.
This is lousy for kids in school and those that suffer from seasonal affective disorder.

My grandfather, from whom I apparently inherited seasonal affective disorder, was a leading expert in sleep research. He even invented a lighting system that gradually brightened bulbs to simulate a natural sunrise.
Morning light is one of the primary signals that sets your circadian rhythm for the day. Delaying sunrise means delaying that signal, making it harder to wake up, feel alert, and maintain a healthy sleep cycle.
Earlier sunsets can certainly be difficult, but for people with seasonal affective disorder, darker mornings are often even more disruptive. That’s why permanent daylight saving time would likely make winter harder, not easier.

So much noise online regarding the term "judeo-Christian." Guys -- in academia it's simply the term that describes the combined corpus of Old and New Testaments. The Jewish heritage of the Hebrew scriptures combined with the New Testament. That's it. I know you want there to be some conspiracy but there isnt, that's the way we're using it. It has nothing to do with geo-politics or a one world order.
