@annbauerwriter @X @LinkedIn LinkedIn is a social media site for people to elevate their work status or seek out other jobs but mainly used by the corporate world. Every post is therefore designed to look good to the HR people at whatever area of work the poster seeks. Its honestly repulsive.

After years of being only on @X (social media-wise), I've had to step up & start participating @LinkedIn. My God. I've never seen posts so consistently disingenuous, smarmy, false, and self-serving. The ickier they are, the more positive people's responses. What's up with that?

This is one of the most terrifying things I've ever read.

Ok first time mom question: When my baby wakes up. She just lays there quitely cooing and playing with her own hands. @eiszett Have you read all the sources you ever cited? During my PhD we, along with dozens of other papers, cited a paper that I later found did not contain the result for which it was commonly cited. I should be banned I guess.
