Waluhya,
As you sing WANTAM, ask yourself why these factories died under the chokehold of Mt. Kenya leadership:
1. Mumias Sugar Company – Mumias, Kakamega
2. Chemelil Sugar Company – Chemelil, Kisumu/Nandi
3. Muhoroni Sugar Company – Muhoroni, Kisumu
4. Sony Sugar Company–Awendo, Migori
5. Nzoia Sugar Company – Bungoma
6. Britania Foods – Western Kenya operations.
7. Pan paper
It's very fashionable to sing WANTAM, but you don't know how critical factories in your region were systematically killed.
Also ask yourself why sugar factories died but the coffee and tea sectors thrived.

Over the years, cancer has overtaken other major causes of death, such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, pneumonia, and road accidents to become Kenya’s leading killer. Nearly everyone has lost a close relative or friend to the disease. Urgent investment and awareness efforts are now critical, as the statistics keep getting worse.
