@SunnylandProds I have many good friends that don't eat gluten, none of them have Celiac's. Just because your friend self diagnosed themselves with something doesn't mean you know anything about dealing with non verbal children that can't eat solid food without a lot of intervention.

@zakabog I’m not a parent yet, but I have a very good friend who has ARFID, which is why I know you have no clue what you’re talking about.

He **wouldn’t** eat. I know it’s extremely fucking hard for most neurotypical people to comprehend that other people might actually have a different experience from their own.

@SunnylandProds @NicoleRCSkinner @Cassie112358 @DrCamiloOrtiz Are they wrong, that mother killed her son. Not intentionally but she, like many other parents, didn't feel like dealing with a fussy baby, so she fed him the only thing he would eat. It wasn't enough and he died.

@SunnylandProds I'm begging you to hold parents accountable. Until you are a parent yourself, or at the very least someone that regularly feeds special needs children, sit down. That mother killed her son

ARFID can be so much more severe and debilitating than just being “picky” and I’m begging you to TRY having some fucking compassion or empathy.

@Lizzy_Ann_J @SunnylandProds Sure buddy, sure. The mother in that story didn't try, I see it regularly, parents that neglect their children because it's easier than watching their kids fuss. They say they tried everything but by tried everything they mean they tried once and gave up because kids are hard.

@zakabog @SunnylandProds My daughter spent months living on nutrition shakes and a pureed mac and cheese ready meal I had to order from a company specialising in meals for elderly people with dispraxia.

No parent needs to have "child foods" like sugary cereals or processed chicken nuggets at home to "get their child to eat." For example, you serve them whatever you are eating for dinner. If they don't eat it, that's perfectly fine. Breakfast will be served in 12 hours.

My boss's boss is like 42, never married, no kids. Earns $275-300K per year. Goes on a minimum of two international vacations a year w/ his girlfriend. 10+ days, all out. Eats the best food, stays in top notch accomodations. Excursions, tours, nicest beaches, etc. Great guy, I'm happy for him. But what I've realized is that without kids, you end up chasing a lifestyle that has to continually be topped in order for you to be satisfied and find happiness. What he and others like him don't understand is that when you have children, seeing THEM experience life's most basic things and watching their eyes light up at all the "firsts", brings greater pleasure and joy than any vacation or travel experience ever could. Seeing THEM try blueberries for the first time is greater than dining at the best 5 star restaurant in Europe. Seeing THEM learn how to walk is greater than walking the Great Wall of China or strolling along the most picturesque beach. Watching THEM giggle uncontrollably at "peek-a-boo" tops any A-list comedian act. Seeing THEIR excitement when building a fort out of cardboard boxes and making a door big enough for daddy is superior to staying at 5-star resorts. Flying kites with THEM far outweighs excursions like parasailing or helicopter rides. Seeing THEM perform a recital on stage for the first time is more rewarding than watching a Broadway show or top notch symphony orchestra. ----------------- When you have children, all of a sudden you realize that life's greatest joys are not in the pursuit of things or pleasure or travel, but rather in the LOVE and bond you share with your very own image bearers. Seeing the beauty and magnificence and wonder of life all over again for the first time through THEIR eyes and expressions gives you something the world simply cannot offer, nor even come close.

@DreamySorrows @DefiantLs Sure, and some people are a Gordon Ramsay while others are a Jamie Oliver, I'm just saying Taco Bell would be a lot more enjoyable to most people than this meal.

@DreamySorrows @DefiantLs There's not much to those beans besides chicken flavor and salt. Could have added some fresh onion and garlic. Plus that beef is going to be so overcooked. She clearly doesn't cook much. My wife and I both have full time jobs and both put in more effort than that when we cook.

@3rdGenVol @bowtiedgerman As a parent, children ARE expensive, they ARE a burden, they ARE a negative outcome on the environment. We could afford children, could handle the burden, and work to offset the environmental impact. More parents should be aware that children aren't easy BEFORE they procreate.

@bowtiedgerman It’s a reaction to decades of messaging and propaganda that children are expensive, a burden, and a negative outcome for the environment and society. The critique is that some have not seen this lie and deception for what it is.

Disagree. He's noticing something. A childless person is doing based on them being childless, that doesn't mean he's putting the lifestyle down because of that. He's specifically talking about the joys and experiences of children that you cannot understand without them. Obviously he thinks having kids is the better choice because he chose it, that doesn't mean if you want to be childfree he won't like you or accept your life choices? Let's all act like adults for once instead of putting all this retarded meaning to shit when all he did was point out something a childless couple does and say that having kids has shown him a different perspective that he's sharing with others.

@LargeFamDad @ContrarianSaver It just sounds like that's the life you really want, and you're trying to sell yourself on 7 kids with no money or vacations being the life you actually wanted. My spouse and I earn considerably more than this made up "boss", and we have kids, I wouldn't have had kids otherwise.

@KatieRe19801239 @MsMelChen @heavensbvnny You have a large kitchen and you're just making one dish at a time? When we have family gatherings I'll usually be working on a dish or two on one side of the kitchen island while my wife's family works on theirs on another. No one's touching my food unless I ask for help.

@MsMelChen @heavensbvnny Strong disagree. Nothing I hate more than turning my back and having someone else stir my dish or add some spice. If you wanted to make dinner, have at it and I'll take a seat. And thanks to our recent remodel, we may have the largest kitchen island in the northern hemisphere

Respectfully, I don't think cooking together is romantic. Please move tf out of my way. One person cooks, the other sits at the counter and drinks wine and says things like "that smells so good" or "I love the things you cook."

A woman drove her Chevrolet Silverado over a $250,000 Lamborghini at a gym parking lot. Whose fault do you think this was. 😳 It’s lifted. If she couldn’t see that car, she’s can’t see small children/ pedestrians/ animals, bicyclists/ motorists. SMH that’s the least damage she could have done. 🤦‍♀️ via Debbie Foreman Her insurance company: "you drove over what?!"
